Turkey threatens Israel after Turkish woman indicted for assisting Hamas

27yr-old Turkish national Ebru Ozkan, was arrested last month leaving Israel at Ben-Gurion Airport, and charged her with unlawful association with terror organization, crimes against public order by assisting terror organization [Hamas], funding enemy organization, and smuggling 5 bottles of perfume which to launder money.

A Turkish national who was arrested a month ago at Ben-Gurion Airport was indicted by the Military Advocate General on Sunday in the Samaria Military Court for several security offenses.

French diplomatic vehicle, 2 consulate staffers arrested for smuggling Hamas arms

With the cooperation of the French gov’t, Israel’s Shin Bet security operatives arrest a French driver and Palestinian guard, both employed by the French Consulate in Jerusalem, for smuggling automatic assault rifles and hand guns from Hamas in Gaza to terrorists in the West Bank using a vehicle with French diplomatic plates.

Turkish tourists arrested at Temple Mount after skirmish with Israel Police

REPORT: Three tourists with dual Belgian-Turkish citizenships were arrested ascending the Temple Mount in Jerusalem after violent response when they were refused entry as long as they wore T-shirts with Turkish flag on them.

Three Turkish tourists were arrested on the slopes of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Turkish media outlets extensively reported Saturday. The tourists were arrested Friday for assaulting police officers, it was reported, and were still detained and interrogated.

Turkish paper Daily Sabah reported eye witness accounts purporting the Israel Police prevented a delegation of Turkish tourists—some of them children—to enter the Temple Mount complex. Continue Reading »

2 more family members of ‘Shirley Temper’ arrested for assaulting IDF soldiers

2 more female family members of arrested ‘Shirley Temper,’ were taken to an Israeli military court Thursday and charged with “assaulting a soldier, harming the security of the area, incitement, and other felonies.”

Two more Arab women appeared in an Israeli military court Thursday after a viral video of an assault on Israeli soldiers in Judea and Samaria, an AFP journalist said.

Nariman Tamimi, 43, and Nour Naji Tamimi, 21, were detained in a case that has set Israeli and Arab social media alight.

The video filmed in the village of Nabi Saleh shows Nour and her cousin Ahed Tamimi, 17, approaching two Israeli soldiers, before shoving, kicking and slapping them while filming on mobile phones. Continue Reading »

The IDF this morning arrested a young Arab woman from the village of Nabi Salih near Ramallah, after footage emerged showing the woman harassing IDF soldiers stationed in the village last Friday.

Israel Border Police bust makeshift arms factory, seize weapons, arrest Palestinian

A male Palestinian was arrested during an early morning police raid, with over a dozen weapons, hundreds of ammunition rounds, IDF uniforms, and related paramilitary equipment seized.

Border Police raided a makeshift arms factory in the West Bank village of Beit Arush early Thursday morning, arresting one man and seizing a cache of illegal rifles, improvised automatic weapons, IDF uniforms, binoculars and ammunition.

An American citizen was zapped with a taser gun and arrested at the end of last week after he attacked a guard at the entrance to the Almagor moshav in northern Israel.

Israel arrests BDS founder Omar Barghouti for tax evasion

 

BDS co-founder Omar Barghouti, the Qatari Arab who moved to Israel and studied at Tel Aviv University, was arrested for allegedly concealing $700,000 of income from tax authorities.

One of the founders of the international Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement has been arrested for concealing large sums of money from tax authorities.

Police say Omar Barghouti, founder of both the BDS movement and the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, was arrested on suspicion he committed tax evasion over the past decade, concealing $700,000 in earned income from tax authorities.

Israel’s Shin Bet has confirmed that the IDF arrest was carried out on Thursday morning just outside of Hebron, and will be followed up by a thorough investigation of the Hamas-affiliated lawmaker, Samir Halaika.

The IDF arrested Hamas lawmaker Samir Halaika early Thursday morning in her home in a Palestinian village outside of Hebron, the Shin Bet confirmed.

According to NGO Human Rights Watch, Hamas authorities in Gaza and even Abbas’ Palestinian Authority police are silencing dissent and abusing journalists who go against the party line in both Gaza and the West Bank by torture Palestinian journalists in their prisons.

Palestinian authorities are silencing dissent by cracking down on free speech and abusing local journalists and activists critical of their policies, a leading international human rights group said Tuesday.

UN to Israel: Release our employee who illegally siphoned aid money to Hamas

The United Nations sent Israel a formal demand that United Nations Development Programme employee who was arrested for redirecting Gaza humanitarian aid money to Hamas military projects, be released.

The UN’s Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) sent a letter to Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, requesting the release of Waheed Al-Bursh, an UNDP worker who was arrested in July for assisting the Hamas terror organization, claiming he should receive diplomatic immunity.

Counterterrorism forces and the Shin Bet arrested three Palestinians in Jabel Mukaber in East Jerusalem Monday night. The three suspects, from Nablus, were taken in for questioning for having expressed their intention to carry out a terror attack on Israelis.
