Report: Israeli Schools Teach Peace, Palestinians Prefer Jihad

 

Global educational watchdog reports Israeli textbooks teach peace as the ultimate goal, while Abbas’ PA approved Palestinian schools encourage conflict and jihad, ignoring any possibility of peace with Jews or Israelis.

Two recent studies have found that while the Israeli school curriculum makes a great effort to promote peace between Jews and Arabs, the Palestinian Authority school curriculum is doing the exact opposite in violation of signed peace agreements.

In overnight sting, Israeli security forces arrest 19 wanted Palestinians

 

In addition to the 19 wanted Palestinians arrested on assorted terrorism charges during the overnight operation to uncover illegal weapons manufacturing workshops, a number of pistols, weapons parts, cartridges & ammunition were seized.

The Israeli Defense Forces in cooperation with the Shin Bet security service arrested 19 wanted Palestinians overnight in the West Bank and uncovered three weapons manufacturing workshops.

Palestinian activists boycott Facebook after multiple accounts closed for incitement

 

Facebook, in cooperation with Jerusalem’s request, has disabled a number of Palestinian accounts that the social media giant identified as ‘promoting violence.’

Palestinian activists called on Facebook users to boycott Facebook and instead post tweets on Twitter under the hashtag #FBCensorsPalestine between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday to protest the closure of a number of Palestinian Facebook accounts.

Israel gives Taiwan 117 earthquake-resistant tables for its schools

 

The Israeli donation of 117 earthquake-resistant tables, given to a school in the city of Tainan, is in memory to the 117 victims of the earthquake that hit the country in February.

Israel has given Taiwan a donation of 117 earthquake-resistant tables, as a gesture of solidarity with the country ahead of its independence day on October 10, and in commemoration of the 117 victims of the quake that hit Taiwan in February.

Unidentified IDF knapsack with weapons returned to security forces by Palestinian Arabs

 

An army knapsack filled classified material, numerous weapons & ammunition was found by Palestinian Arabs on Route 35 near Hevron, and returned to Israeli forces via Palestinian police.

According to the report on Channel 2, the Arabs claimed that they found the bag on Route 35, near Hevron. It contained classified materials, as well as army uniforms and ready-to-use weapons.

Israeli authorities assist in 300 kg of cocaine bust in Sao Paulo

 

The Brazilian press reports a local man & Israeli, suspected of being part of a drug smuggling network, were arrested in São Paulo with the aid of Israeli authorities.

Brazil’s GloboNews reported on Friday that the country’s federal police has arrested two men—one Brazilian and one Israeli—in São Paulo. The two reportedly had 300 kilograms of cocaine in their possession at the time of their arrest, and are suspected of belonging to a drug smuggling network.

According to GloboNews, the arrest was performed in cooperation with the local Israeli consulate.

EU considering dropping Hamas from bloc’s terror blacklist

 

The European Court of Justice advocate-general suggests that, “The council cannot rely on facts and evidence found in press articles and information from the internet,” in keeping Hamas on the sanctions list.

The European Union appears on its way to declaring that Hamas is not a terrorist organization.

An advocate-general at the European Court of Justice, whose advice is usually followed by judges, recommended on Thursday that they reject an appeal by the Council of Europe against the lower EU court’s decisions in late 2014 to remove both Hamas and the Tamil Tigers of Sri Lanka from the sanctions list due to flawed procedures.
