Intimidated by Israeli presence, Lebanese army chief ditches U.S. Defense Conference

At the last moment the Lebanese Army chief, who’s already in Washington D.C., decides to boycotts a major conference of chiefs of staff from NATO + US allies, due to the attendance of Gadi Eizenkot, the IDF Chief of Staff.

Lebanon’s chief of staff, Gen. Joseph Aoun, boycotted a major conference of chiefs of staff hosted by the United States, which was attended by IDF Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot.

The conference was held at the beginning of the week in Washington, Haaretz reported. Although Aoun did not attend, army heads from other Arab countries like Egypt and Jordan, which have peace treaties with Israel, as well as Saudi Arabia, which doesn’t, did participate in the event, the newspaper noted. Hamas leader threatens to bomb Israel, Tel Aviv

Hamas’s leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, is continuing his rhetoric against Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA), stressing on Tuesday that the weapons held by the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s “military wing”, will continue to serve as the spearhead in the struggle for the liberation of Palestine.

Netanyahu signs deal allowing Israel to forcibly deport illegal migrants back to Africa

REPORT: Turkish Airlines blocks Israeli judo team from flying to sporting event

Having been refused to board a Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul,  the 12 Israeli judokas will now have to travel to Amman, Jordan to receive their visas allowing them to enter and compete in the Grand Slam event in UAE.

The Israeli judo team, which was supposed to fly to the United Arab Emirates via Istanbul for the Grand Slam event, was stranded at Ben Gurion Airport after Turkish Airlines refused to allow them on its plane, Channel 1 reported.

IDF hits Syria hard, destroys multiple artillery positions after firing on Israel

Having ascertained Israel had been fired on 5 times, and maintaining its policy that no attack on its sovereignty go unreciprocated, the IDF Saturday morning delivered precision hits, destroying three Syrian regime artillery positions, one for each projectile that landed inside Israel.

Israel jails Arab Israeli couple who joined ISIS

The Israeli Arab couple, Wissam and Sabreen Zbedat from Sakhnin in northern Israel, were found guilty and jailed for leaving Israel in 2015 with their three young children, to an enemy country and taking part in terrorist activities.

A court in Haifa on Thursday sentenced an Arab Israeli man to more than five years in jail for joining the Islamic State (ISIS) jihadist group.

The court said in a statement that it sentenced Wissam Zbedat to 70 months in prison and a 14,000 shekel ($4,000) fine for travelling to Syria to fight for ISIS.

The prosecution accused Zbedat and his wife, Sabreen, of leaving the country in 2015 with their three children then aged three, six and eight for Syria to join ISIS. Continue Reading »

Kite Pharma, founded by Israeli-American Professor Arie Belldegrun in 2009, has announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted regular approval for its cancer treatment Yescarta.

California-based Gilead Sciences bought Kite Pharma for $12 billion in August this year.
