IDF retaliates after errant Syrian projectile lands in Golan Heights

Having identified the source of the stray fire on Israel, the IDF retaliated holding the Syrian government responsible for attacks from its territory.

The Israeli army conducted a strike on a site in Syria on Thursday hours after a stray projectile from Syria landed in the northern Golan Heights, the military said.

The military said it struck the source of the errant fire and reiterated its policy that considers the Syrian government responsible for whatever occurs within its territory.

Israel continues funding feeding sanctuaries for millions of migrating Great White Pelicans

Israel’s Agriculture Ministry announced it will continue funding rest sanctuaries and food for the vast amount of Great White Pelicans that migrate over the country annually.
• The project keep the birds from emptying the fish farms, protecting the farmers, and their fish.

Migrating pelicans can once again stop by for a mouthful of fish in Israel.

The Agriculture Ministry said Wednesday it would keep funding a pet project to feed thousands of Great White Pelicans who fly annually over the country.

The idea is to centralize their feeding ground at a central Israeli reservoir so the birds do not harm the livelihood of farmers by poaching fish from nearby breeding grounds. Continue Reading »

Eight member states of the EU are taking an unprecedented move by penning a letter demanding that Israel reimburse them for its decision to take apart infrastructures in the West Bank that were slated to serve as equipment for local schools (serving mostly the Beduin community), France’s daily Le Monde reported Wednesday night.

US Special Envoy issues statement to Hamas: Disarm, adhere to the Quartet principles

REPORT: Iran procurement activities include nuclear warhead components for ballistic missile

German security official: “Despite the nuclear agreement [lead by Obama in July 2015], Iran has not given up its illegal activities in Germany,” by pursuing to acquire banned components to construct nuclear warheads for their ongoing ballistic missile program.

German security officials have accused the Iranian regime of pursuing its goal to build missiles armed with nuclear warheads, the Berlin daily Der Tagesspiegelreported.

“Despite the nuclear agreement [reached with world powers in July 2015], Iran has not given up its illegal activities in Germany. The mullah regime also made efforts this year to obtain material from [German] firms for its nuclear program and the construction of missiles, said security sources,” Der Tagesspiegel wrote on Friday. In a joint nighttime operation, the IDF, Border Police, & Shabak arrest 18 wanted Arab terrorists and seal illegal Palestinian media outlets that incite and/or support terrorist attacks on Israelis.

Israeli security forces on Tuesday night raided eight Arab media outlets responsible for broadcasting incitement and encouraging terrorism.

The operation was carried out by IDF, Shabak (Israel Security Agency), and the Civil Administration, and included the closing of illegal and inciting media outlets, as well as the confiscation of documents and equipment.

Historic observation of Neutron star collision vindicates Israeli scientist’s theory

For the first time, scientists have witnessed the cataclysmic crash of two ultra-dense neutron stars in a galaxy far away, and concluded that such impacts forged at least half the gold in the Universe.

IDF invites public to decide its 70th anniversary insignia

The IDF invites the public to visit it’s website by Oct. 29 to decide which of the three different designs will appear at all state events celebrating Israel’s 70th birthday and IDF documents throughout the upcoming year.

In honor of the country’s 70th Independence Day, the IDF is offering the public the unique opportunity of choosing the armed forces’ official insignia marking the historic milestone.

Voting opened on Wednesday morning on the IDF’s official website. The public will have until Oct. 29 to choose between three different designs.

UNHRC sends threatening letter to companies that service West Bank Jewish towns

The UN Human Rights Council has been caught blackmailing Bezeq, an Israeli telecommunications company, for servicing the entire Jewish State in the letter included below.

The United Nations Human Rights Council has been pressuring Israeli telecommunications giant Bezeq to cut off its services to settlements, saying that the company is promoting the illegal communities and their expansion, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Bezeq currently provides the same services to Israeli cities and towns within the Green Line and to the settlements beyond it. Israeli sorties bombed targets in the Sinai Peninsula Sunday evening in retaliation for two rockets launched at Israel from the Egyptian territory hours earlier, according to Tuesday report in the London-based newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

Abu Dhabi to allow Israelis to perform at judo tournament, but no flag, ‘ISR’ or national anthem

The Israeli Judo team participating at the Grand Slam event in Abu Dhabi will not be allowed to compete wearing Israel’s national flag or hear the ‘Hatikva’ if they win a place on the podium.

IDF Druze medic greets wounded Syrian civilians in Arabic, ‘we’re here to help you’

Druze Israeli Staff Sgt. ‘A’ from southern Israel, who’s currently serving as a medic in the Golan Heights says he sees “the fear in the eyes” of the wounded Syrians as they cross the border to Israel, so he comforts them, saying in Arabic, “Hi, my medical team and I are here to help you.”
