The testimonies of 52 Palestinian Arabs who suffered brutal abuse at the hands of the Palestinian Authority were presented on Monday to the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

British Airways pilot bounces 18 young Brits from plane after bomb threat

After the British Airways captain at Ben Gurion Airport refused to allow the 18 rowdy British youths fly on to London when one of them threatened to blow up the aircraft, an Israeli security team was dispatched.

18 British youths were taken off a British Airways flight from Israel to London after the captain refused to fly them when one of them threatened to blow up the aircraft.

The participants participated in a private event in Israel. After boarding the plane, one of them announced that he would blow up the plane.

Eviation Aircraft Ltd., an Israeli aviation company, displayed the Eviation Alice, an entirely electric commuter plane, at the Paris Air Show this week.

Israel arrests Iranian spy in West Bank

Israel’s internal Shin Bet security service announced that in April they arrested 32 yr-old Jordanian businessman Taer Shaafut, who was run by Iranian handlers to build business ties in the West Bank and Israel.

The Shin Bet domestic security service said Thursday that it has arrested a Jordanian businessman who attempted to set up an intelligence-gathering operation in the West Bank on behalf of Iran.

The businessman, who was named as 32-year-old Taer Shaafut, was arrested in April and was indicted 10 days ago by the military prosecutor for allegedly making contact with the enemy, making contact with a hostile organization, and conspiring to bring enemy funds into the area. Continue Reading »

India votes with Israel, keeps Palestinian NGO out of UN

India follows Netanyahu’s recommendation and votes with Israel to block Palestinian NGO from attaining consultative status in the UN Economic and Social Council.
– The decision to block the NGO was adopted, 28 in favor to 15 against, with 5 abstentions.

In a rare move, India voted in favour of a decision introduced by Israel in the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) that objected to granting consultative status to a Palestinian non-governmental organisation, after the Jewish state said the organisation did not disclose its ties with Hamas.

Israel introduced at a meeting of the ECOSOC the draft decision “L.15” on June 6 titled “Application of the non-governmental organisation Palestinian Association for Human Rights – Witness for consultative status with the Economic and Social Council” that sought to return to the NGO Committee Witness’ application for consultative status, a very rare occurrence. Israeli court orders demolition of 13 illegal buildings in East Jerusalem

Palestinians are worried the High Court decision sets a precedent allowing Israel to demolish thousands of unauthorized Palestinian-owned structures outside of Jerusalem’s municipal boundaries and into the West Bank.

Israel’s High Court of Justice approved the demolition of 13 buildings in an East Jerusalem neighborhood that falls under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority, Haaretz reported Monday.

Palestinians fear the ruling will set a precedent empowering Israel to demolish thousands of buildings in the West Bank.

The deposed Egyptian President, 67-year-old Mohammed Morsi from the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood collapsed in court and died during his espionage trial.

The international community must take immediate steps to oust Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas in order to advance the diplomatic process with the Palestinians, Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Erdan said Sunday in his speech to The Jerusalem Post Conference in New York.
