Arab teens watched incitement videos, bought knives and went to butcher Jews

 

After viewing incitement videos online, two young Arab teens went to buy knives, prayed at Al-Aqsa, then set out to become Palestinian terrorists who murder Jews to become “martyrs.”

The Jerusalem District Attorney submitted indictment letters to the Jerusalem District Court on Wednesday against two Arab teenagers, who are accused of attempting to carry out a murderous knife attack against Jews. They are indicted on two counts, one of attempted murder and a second for possession of a knife.

According to the indictment letter the two teens watched a series of inciting videos on the internet which negatively portrayed Israeli authorities in Jerusalem and aired libels as to how soldiers “search” Palestinian women, following which they decided to carry out an attack to murder Jews and become “martyrs.” Continue Reading »

Leading a new wave of incitement, Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah faction has called on Palestinian children to “water (the ground) with blood” to destroy Israel.

A preacher for the Iraqi Shi’ite militia of Hizbullah al-Nujaba was filmed inciting against Jews, Bedouins, Americans, and Sunni Muslims in a fiery speech to its forces fighting in Syria last week.

Sheikh Akram Al-Kabi, al-Nujaba’s leader, riled up the audience at a Friday sermon at Khaled Ibn Al-Walid mosque south of Aleppo, the Middle Eastern Research Media Institute (MEMRI) reports.

NGO calls on UN Chief to fire staff members that post photos glorying the death of Jews

UNRWA staff members who post photographs or text glorying the death of Jews and or Israelis on social media should be fired, said the non-governmental group UN Watch on Monday as it released a report detailing such activity.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) has banned a Gaza-based Hamas network from broadcasting within its borders Monday, it announced on its official Facebook page – apparently to stop incitement

While Israel has cracked down on incitement against Israelis and Jews from within the PA, the PA itself has apparently begun monitoring – and filtering – broadcasts as well.

For the third time this month, Israeli forces raided a Hebron radio station overnight Saturday as part of an ongoing effort to clamp down on anti-Israeli incitement over the Palestinian airwaves.

“The motivation of Children terror comes primarily from social network incitement; this is Israel’s new war.” As part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ campaign against online incitement, Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely met with YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki and with Jennifer Downes, Director of Public Policy at Google at the company’s Silicon Valley offices.

Israel Police arrest 2 Palestinians from Jerusalem for inciting to have Jews killed via Facebook

 

According to the police, the 2 Palestinians regularly sought attackers in the capital’s Arab neighborhoods by posting images of knives, and encouraging them to stab Jewish residents.

 

Two Palestinian men in their 20s were arrested by police on Wednesday morning in the flashpoint east Jerusalem Arab neighborhood of Silwan for using Facebook to incite violence against Jews in the capital.

The unidentified suspects were arrested in their homes following a two-week undercover investigation carried out by detectives, police said.

The Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet security agency and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) shut down on Saturday night a radio station in Hebron which the IDF said was broadcasting content that incited Palestinian listeners to attack Israelis.

Police in Jerusalem arrested a top sheikh on Wednesday on suspicion of inciting his worshippers to attack Jews.

Sheikh Khaled Al Mughrabi, who gives regular sermons twice a week at the Temple Mount and al-Aqsa mosque, was detained after videos emerged of him inciting racial hatred.

IDF silences Palestinian radio station in Hebron over anti-Israel incitement

 

The Al-Huriya radio station, which encouraged violent “resistance” marches, broadcasted false claims that Israeli security forces were kidnapping Palestinian boys and executing Palestinians protesters, to facilitate attacks on Jews.

Israeli authorities raided a Palestinian radio station in Hebron before dawn on Tuesday on suspicion that the station systematically aired incitement to violence against Israelis. During the raid, conducted by the Israel Defense Forces and the Civil Administration, troops confiscated broadcast and technical equipment, forcing the station off the air.

Jerusalem District Court Rejects Islamic Movement Leader Raed Salah’s Appeal

 

The verdict sends Raed Salah, the leader of the extremist Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, to begin 11 months incarceration for incitement in a speech given in 2007.

 

Raed Salah, the leader of the extremist Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, had his appeal rejected in the Jerusalem District Court on Tuesday and will have to serve the 11-month sentence he received in March for incitement in a speech he gave in 2007.

It’s about fu**ing time: Facebook removes Hamas news page

 

Israeli students sent reports to Facebook complaining against the Shehab News Agency page, with its 2.7 million likes, which shares Hamas’ ideology, posting nonstop anti-Semitic and inciting content depicted in cartoons containing graphic violence.

Facebook removed on Tuesday the page of Hamas’ news agency Shehab, after Israeli students who are a part of a program to fight anti-Semitism reported the page. 

The students received a message from Facebook saying the page, one of the more popular Facebook pages in the Arab world with 2.7 million likes, has been removed because it was found to be containing graphic violence, which violates Facebook’s terms of use.  Continue Reading »
