Abbas rewards East Jerusalem hooligans with $25 million for week of violence

 

Israel Police reports the Palestinian government’s generous subsidies that were announced last week at peak of violent clashes between Palestinians and the Israelis, are to be distributed among East Jerusalem residents to use at their discretion.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has allocated some $25 million in government subsidies to support Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem in the wake of a violent standoff with Israel over a flashpoint holy site in the city.

Israel’s Channel Two television reported Sunday that the money will be distributed as grants for Palestinian residents to be used in a variety of ways, including to fund University studies, pay off municipal debts, assist private businesses, and subsidize electricity costs for residents of the Old City. Fifty-one Palestinians tortured by the Palestinian Authority for cooperating with Israel can sue the PA in Israeli courts for damages, the Jerusalem District Court ruled Wednesday in a blockbuster judgement.

One of the cornerstone understandings of the original Israeli-Palestinian peace process was that a future Palestinian state would be notably different from the neighboring Muslim Arab authoritarian regimes.

We now know that won’t be the case, and evidence to that effect keeps mounting.

Palestinian Authority website boasts of attacks against Israelis with releasing data draped in pride that 93 terrorist attacks against Israelis were carried out just during the month of March.

The Palestinian Arab Al-Intifada website on Sunday published new statistical data regarding the “Al-Quds Intifada”, the name used by Palestinian Arab terrorist groups to describe the wave of violent attacks against Israelis which began in October of 2015.

According to the report, the number of terrorists killed during the “intifada” reached 298 during the month of March, and Israel still holds the bodies of seven terrorists.

93 attacks were carried out during the month of March in what the terrorists consider “occupied Palestinian territories”, according to the website. Continue Reading »

New rules of engagement for Israel Police allow live fire against some rock-throwers

 

In response to an NGO petition to the Lod District Court, it has been revealed that new security rules were put into place to combat the current 9-month long wave of deadly Palestinian violence directed against Israelis.

Poll: Palestinians Support Terror Over a Negotiated Peace

A survey published this week revealed that most young Palestinians are only interested in the kind of solution to the current conflict that can be brought about by terrorist violence.

Conducted by the Palestinian NGO Jerusalem Media and Communications Center, the survey was conducted among Palestinians aged 16–30 in both Gaza and the so-called “West Bank.”

A 69-year-old Japanese tourist visiting Israel was lightly wounded on Monday by rocks thrown at her by Arab assailants.

The attack took place at the Lion’s Gate of the Old City in Jerusalem, which leads to the Temple Mount from the east.
