Hamas Legislator Arrested By IDF

 

Israel’s Shin Bet has confirmed that the IDF arrest was carried out on Thursday morning just outside of Hebron, and will be followed up by a thorough investigation of the Hamas-affiliated lawmaker, Samir Halaika.

The IDF arrested Hamas lawmaker Samir Halaika early Thursday morning in her home in a Palestinian village outside of Hebron, the Shin Bet confirmed.

On Monday morning, the IDF arrested two other Hamas lawmakers, Khaled Tafish and Anwar Zaboun.

Joint Security Force Bust Palestinian Weapon-Smuggling Network

 

Ending the months-long operation by the Israel Police, Shin Bet and the IDF, 9 men are arrested in Nablus, finally dismantling a vast smuggling network that used mail-ordered combat equipment to supply terrorist cells in Gaza & the West Bank.

An operation to bring down a weapon parts and combat accessories smuggling network was finished Tuesday night as the IDF, Shin Bet, Israel Police and customs stormed the last operating shop in Nablus, seizing illegally smuggled equipment and arresting the shop owner.

The smuggling network ran by ordering the equipment online from undisclosed countries to the Ashdod port by ship, and from there, sending it by mail or some other legitimate delivery system to a recipient in either Balata or Casbah refugee camps in Nablus. Continue Reading »

Israel security forces nab 9 terrorists, confiscating weapons and terror funds in night-raids

 

In 3 overnight multi-agency operations across Judea and Samaria, the IDF, Border Police, Israel Police, and Shin Bet security agency, apprehended 9 wanted terrorists, while seizing firearms & cash used to promote terrorism.

A joint overnight operation of the IDF, Border Police, and Judea and Samaria District police netted nine wanted terrorists and a large illegal weapon stash.

Four of the suspects arrested in the raids were wanted for past terror attacks targeting Israeli civilians and security forces.

Cleared for publication: Israeli Arab from Jerusalem arrested on terrorism charges

 

The arrested suspect, who was involved in a number of previous terror-related attacks, was planning to carry out multiple shooting attacks against Israeli security personnel & civilians in the Jewish Capital.
• His Facebook page revealed he supports Hamas and frequently incited against Israel.

An Israeli resident living in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem was arrested three weeks ago on suspicion of planning to carry out multiple acts of terrorism in Israel, it was cleared for publication Thursday afternoon.

The resident, identified as Muhammad Mussa Muhammad Abassi, was arrested as part of a joint operation between the Shin Bet and the Police Central Unit, said a press release issued by the Shin Bet.

Israel Security Services arrests 3 Arab Israelis for trying to join ISIS

 

Following IDF forces’ discovery of a tunnel between the West Bank and Israel proper, intended for smuggling weapons to carry out attacks, the 3 Israeli-Arabs were arrested.
– 2 of the arrested Arab males had previously attempted to enter Syria to join ISIS.

A Palestinian in a Hamas terror cell involved in the death Rabbi Michael Mark of was killed during an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) operation overnight near the West Bank city of Hebron, Israel’s Channel 2 news reports.

“A terrorist behind the attack in which Rabbi Michael Mark was assassinated on July 1 was killed on Tuesday night during exchanges of fire with soldiers,” a statement from the IDF said.

Cleared for publication: Another Gaza attack-tunnel digger captured

A 17 yr-old Hamas’s military wing member, who was captured by the IDF after crossing border from Gaza, revealed an abundance of information to the Shin Bet regarding Hamas strategy and tunnel routes.

Israeli security forces arrested a 17-year-old Gazan who was a member of Hamas’s military wing last month, it was cleared for publication on Sunday. The teenager was arrested in a joint operation between the IDF, police, and the Shin Bet after the Palestinian crossed the border fence into Israel.

Israel’s Shabak, also known as the Shin Bet, is recruiting people to become elite bodyguards for the Israeli leadership.

The public barely knows about its existence. They mainly see it on their TVs, while people armed with pistols and earpieces are surrounding the leaders of the country.

They are the VIP Protection Unit of the Shin Bet, and they’re looking for the next generation to protect Israel’s leaders.

Border Crossing Authority, working with the Shin Bet, uncovered hidden water pumps used to pump water out of tunnels, and metal pipes used to make mortars, en route to the Gaza Strip to be used in attacking Israel.

Security forces in cooperation with the Shin Bet stopped a shipment of metal tubes and water pumps into the Gaza Strip Thursday morning.

The metal tubes are of the variety typically used by Hamas terrorists to construct mortars, while the water pumps are typically used to pump water out of Hamas tunnels as they are being dug.
