U.S. Ambassador gets Germany to prevent entry of Palestinian terrorist

U.S. envoy to Germany, Richard Grenell said Friday, “The Germans made the right decision…. Offering a public speaking role to a Palestinian terrorist convicted of murder, terrorism and immigration fraud legitimizes antisemitism at a time when we should be condemning it.”

BERLIN – The German government canceled an event on Friday with a convicted Palestinian terrorist who murdered two Israeli students, following a strongly worded statement from US Ambassador Richard Grenell that was prominently featured in the nation’s daily newspapers.

Argentina arrests 2 Iranians with fake Israeli passports on terror charges

The two Iranians are suspected of involvement in terror activities having been arrested for illegally entering Argentina using doctored passports ‘with numerous spelling mistakes.’

An Iranian man and woman were arrested Saturday morning in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after they tried to enter the country with forged Israeli documents, Clarin reported.

The two are suspected of involvement in terror activities and were transferred for interrogation by local security forces.

IAF attacks 100 Gaza targets over mistaken attack on Tel Aviv

Blaming the Thursday evening rocket attack entirely on Hamas, even after assessing that the launching of two Fajr-5 rockets at Israel’s center was a mistake, Israeli aircraft attacked over 100 targets in Gaza overnight, with no casualties reported by the Hamas government.

The IDF asses that the launching of two missiles at Israel’s center Thursday evening was a mistake.

The two missiles were launched from a Hamas installation at 21:07, while the Egyptian negotiating team was in the Gaza Strip discussing Hamas’ arrangement with Israel and Egypt.

After Gaza launched rockets at Tel Aviv, IDF retaliates against terror bases

BREAKING: IAF jets retaliate, attacking targets in Gaza, beginning on Khan Yunis in response to Palestinians firing two Fajr-5 rockets toward central Israel cities.

The IDF began attacking targets in Gaza on Thursday night in response to the rocket fire on central Israel earlier in the evening.

The Palestinian Arabs reported that the attack took place in Khan Yunis.

Shortly after the start of the IDF attack in Gaza, sirens were sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council. The IDF confirmed a launch was identified but the rocket missed its target and exploded inside Gaza.

Prime Minister/Defense Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is holding security consultations with heads of the security establishment at the Kirya in Tel Aviv Thursday night.

Rocket Sirens activated in ‘GUSH DAN’ – Tel- Aviv after 2 Fajr-5 rockets were fired from Gaza.
– Explosions heard. Apparently both rockets are thought to have fallen in open areas. Iron Dome was activated.

Two rockets were fired towards central Israel on Thursday evening, with at least two loud explosions heard, the first time sirens were activated in Tel Aviv since the last war with Gaza in 2014.

REPORT: US dubs Golan as “Israeli controlled” instead of ‘occupied’

In its annual global human rights report dealing with the Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, for the first time ever, the US State Department referred to the ‘disputed territories’ as “Israeli controlled” instead of Israel “occupied.”

For the first time, the US State Department on Wednesday referred to the disputed Golan Heights as “Israeli controlled” instead of Israel “occupied” as well as dropping the phrases “occupied territories” and “under occupation” from the sections of its annual global human rights report dealing with the Golan Heights, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

In the case of the Golan Heights, captured by Israel in the 1967 war, the report classifies the mountainous region on the border between Israel and Syria as “Israeli-controlled” instead of “Israeli-occupied,” as it has read in past years. Continue Reading »

Jordan’s Wakf Council announces intention to renovate Golden Gate site

The announcement came following understandings reached by Israeli and Jordanian officials who’ve been holding intensive talks in the past few weeks in an attempt to reach an agreement to end the tension on the Temple Mount.

In a move signaling the possible end of the crisis, the Wakf Council announced on Wednesday that it will start “immediate renovation and reconstruction work” at the Golden Gate site on the Temple Mount, also known as Bab a-Rahma. The announcement was made after an emergency meeting of the Wakf Council in east Jerusalem.

Worldwide debt owed to Israel soars to record $158.3 billion

The $158.3 billion owed Israel will be added to the state’s coffer’s foreign currency reserves now at over $273 billion which could help Israel contend with potential local and/or global financial developments.

Israel is owed a record $158.3 billion in debts from countries around the world, according to figures published by the Bank of Israel and Central Bureau of Statistics on Monday.

A Border Policewoman was lightly wounded Tuesday after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a police station near Lions’ Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem.The police entered the Temple Mount following the attack and closed off all the entrances and exits to the compound in order to locate the perpetrators, which led to violent clashes between the worshippers and Israeli security services. Palestinian terrorist shot dead during knife attack in Hevron

Israeli security forces respond quickly Tuesday morning, neutralizing a knife wielding Arab terrorist during a stabbing attack on the IDF soldiers standing guard in Hevron.

An Arab terrorist was shot and killed Tuesday during a failed stabbing attempt in the city of Hevron, south of Jerusalem.

The incident occurred Tuesday just after noon at an IDF position just outside of Hevron when a Palestinian Arab terrorist armed with a knife attempted to stab several Israeli soldiers.

The Israel Prison Service has uncovered a sophisticated method of smuggling cellphones into Israeli jails, the agency announced on Sunday.

Security prisoners, the agency said, have been caught trying to smuggle miniature cellphones into prisons by swallowing them. The smugglers would commit petty crimes just so they could be arrested and then deliver the phones to a specific person already behind bars. Continue Reading »
