VIDEO: Israeli Safari lions love to start off their day with coffee

WATCH: Once the coffee is put out, the lions at Israel’s Ramat Gan Safari spend about 30 minutes together enjoying their morning caffeine fix.

Lions at the Ramat Gan Safari woke up with a kick Monday morning as they rolled around in coffee grinds.

Yifat, a safari employee, spread coffee in an open area and then let the lions out of their den, after moving far away from the area.

When the lions were released they followed the strong smell of the coffee and started rolling on the grinds for over 30 minutes. Continue Reading »

Gov’t approves Jerusalem cable car to the Western Wall

The Israeli cabinet approves the cost of Jerusalem’s tourist cable car, at an expected cost of $56 million, with its 40 cars carrying 3,000 passengers an hour across 1.4 km beginning in 2021.

Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania block EU rant over US embassy move

The Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania have recently blocked a (EU) statement slamming the United States over its plan to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, a spokesman said Saturday.

“The Czech Republic has protested against the planned statement,” Jiri Ovcacek, spokesman for Czech President Milos Zeman, told AFP.

IDF destroys Hamas’ 9th terror-tunnel in Saturday’s retaliatory strike in Gaza

The Israel Air Force on Saturday evening destroyed a Hamas offensive tunnel that was in advanced stages of building mere meters from the Erez crossing in the northern Gaza Strip.

Russia backsteps: No plans to sell Syria S-300 ground-to-air missiles

In a statement released just days after the Israeli Prime Minister’s meeting with Putin in Moscow and Israel’s massive airstrike in Syria, Moscow announced they are not planning any advanced S-300 missiles sales to Syria.

Russia’s defense ministry said on Thursday that Syria had shot down more than half of the missiles fired at it overnight by Israel, RIA news agency reported.According to the report, the Israeli strike was carried out by 28 planes which fired at least 60 missiles, including 10 surface-to-surface missiles.

After meeting Putin, Netanyahu affirms Israel will defend itself without interference

The Iranian Qods Force fired a barrage of 20 rockets at IDF forward posts on the Golan Heights around midnight on Wednesday night.

A number of rockets were intercepted by the IDF’s Iron Dome aerial defense system. No injuries were reported.

Alleged pre-emptive strike by Israel on Syrian base kills 8 Iranians

The death toll of a suspected Israeli strike on the outskirts of Damascus has risen to 15 non-Syrian pro-regime fighters, including eight Iranians, a Britain-based war monitor said Wednesday.

The strike hit a weapons depot of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards in the area of Kisweh south of the capital late Tuesday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said.
