A Storm Set to Hit Israel: Meet Newly Nominated EU Foreign Policy Chief

Nominated as EU’s next foreign policy head, Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell once advised the EU about Iranian intentions, saying, “Iran wants to wipe out Israel; nothing new about that. You have to live with it.”
– Regarding the Palestinians, Borrell is in favor of EU countries unilaterally recognizing a Palestinian state.

Israel’s most extensive operation in Syria undeterred by Russia’s S-300

The erected Russian S-300 system, was either not yet made operational or they’re ineffective against the IDF, because 17 separate targets in two cities were destroyed in Israel’s most extensive operation in Syria to date.

UPDATED: The London-based NGO, Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reported that suspected Israeli airstrikes in Damascus & Homs at around midnight Sunday night killed at least 9 soldiers, most of them Iranians.

Israeli warplanes attacked military positions in central Syria early Monday, with a missile near the capital, Damascus, killing four civilians and wounding 21, Syrian state media reported.

The International Atomic Energy Agency recognizes the ‘State of Palestine’

Since the Palestinian Authority has no nuclear reactors nor does the PA have sovereignty as an independent state, the absurdity of the recognition makes a mockery of the international organization.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) signed an agreement to recognize Palestine, as a state as it joined the international body as a observer on Tuesday. While it is not a member, it can attend meetings as an observer, an IAEA spokesperson said.

The agreement, which was signed by the agency’s director general Yukiya Amano and the Palestinian Ambassador in Vienna Salah Abdul Shafi, gives the IAEA inspectors the ability to check the safety of radioactive materials and fissile nuclear materials, such as uranium. Continue Reading »

Netanyahu: ‘IDF pre-empts, prevents enemy from establishing attack bases’

Just hours after Syrian State News Agency reported Syria’s air defense has thwarted an Israeli missile attack on Tel al-Hara, PM Netanyahu said that in a “systematic and consistent manner” Israel will continue to prevent its enemies “from establishing attack bases in our vicinity.”

REPORT: Syrian opposition officers document locations of Iranian missile caches

A London-based paper reported that the National Liberation Front, a group of dissident Syrian officers documented Iranian missiles being stored in the strategic T-4 airport in Syria’s Homs province, rocket caches in Jubb el-Jarah east of Homs, in Aleppo’s al-Safira, and more south of Damascus.
– Israel has warned repeatedly that it would not allow an Iranian presence in Syria.

Syrian opposition officers have documented the site of several Iranian missile caches in the country, including in areas Israel has demanded that Iran vacate.

Kushner: Uncertain if Palestinians can break away from kleptocratic autocrat leaders

Having been publicly exposed, it’s no wonder Palestinian leadership condemns any US Peace Plan.

White House senior advisor Jared Kushner said in an interview broadcast on Sunday that the Palestinians deserve “self-determination,” but stopped short of backing Palestinian statehood and expressed uncertainty over their ability to govern themselves.
