Warring Palestinians in Lebanon turn refugee camp into war-zone, 10 dead, 50 injured

 

Israel Defense Minister:  World’s hypocrisy and double standard seen again as Lebanese Army allows ongoing clashes between religious militants and Palestinians in the middle of Ein el Hilweh, causing death, devastation and scores injured.

Approximately 10 people were killed and 50 wounded in ongoing confrontation in the Ein El Hilweh refugee camp in Lebanon between Palestinian factions and Islamists affiliated with the Salafi movement. Recently, an attempt was made to reach a cease-fire, and now the person who heads an armed group and is affiliated with the Salafis is being pursued.

Jordan’s King outraged after being called “Foolish & Irresponsible” by Iran

 

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman: “The foolish and irresponsible statements by the King of Jordan indicate ignorance and a superficial understanding of the developments taking place in the region.”

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry said it “strongly protests” Tehran’s remarks about the monarch, and reminded the Islamic Republic to respect the “good neighborly relations with Arab states.”

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry on Monday demanded that Iran’s ambassador to Amman explain comments attributed to the Islamic Republic’s Foreign Ministry after a spokesperson described a statement from King Abdullah II of Jordan as “foolish and irresponsible.”

In an interview published by The Washington Post on April 6, Abdullah said that Iran has created “strategic problems” in the Middle East, while noting that Tehran is attempting to “forge a geographic link between…Iraq, Syria and Hezbollah in Lebanon.” Continue Reading »

REPORT: One Dead after Israel retaliates for ISIS rocket fire with UAV attack

 

Following yesterday’s Islamic State rocket fire on Southern Israel, Arab media reports of an unidentified drone strike on a home & car in Rafah, Sinai, killing one.
– IDF has had no comment on the foreign reports.

Following rocket fire directed at communities in the Eshkol Regional Council Monday morning, Arab media outlet Al Jazeera reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacked a house in southern Rafah, killing one person.

Hamas hangs 3 for collaborating with Israel as message to Fukha’s assassins

 

After being sentenced to death for undisclosed acts of ‘collaboration’ with the Jewish State, but unrelated to Mazan Fukha’s assassination, three Palestinians were hanged at a Hamas police compound as a warning.

Hamas hanged three Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel Thursday morning.The three were sentenced to death before the assassination of Mazan Fukha and have no connection to Hamas’s pursuit of those responsible.

PA Abbas slashes salaries of Gaza workers by 30%, a decade after they stopped working

 

With western countries curtailing their lavish financial aid, the salaries of 50,000 Fatah government employees in Gaza, who have not actually been working since Gaza was taken over by the Hamas terror group over a decade ago, is being reduced by a third.

REPORT: Hamas seals Erez Crossing into Israel to catch assassin

 

Wafa, the official PA news site reports Gaza’s Hamas-controlled security forces closed all exits from Gaza and are also preventing the enclaves 4000 fishermen from going out to sea, in hopes of apprehending the assassin of a senior military commander.

The Hamas-controlled Interior Ministry closed the Erez crossing until further notice on Sunday, a ministry spokesman said, a day after Hamas accused Israel of assassinating a senior member of its military wing, the Izzadin Kassam Brigades.

According to a Hamas report, Fukha, who was released in the prisoner exchange for captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, was shot 4 times in the head by unknown attackers who disappeared.

Unknown assailants gunned down Hamas operative Mazan Fukha Friday night outside his home in Tel al-Hawa, in the Gaza Strip.

According to Hamas’ military wing, Fukha, who was released in a prisoner exchange deal for captured IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, was shot in the head  four times with a silenced weapon by unknown attackers who fled the scene.
