US envoy tells UNESCO: the Palestinian Authority lies

UNESCO: Hebron Muslim history overly focused, at exclusion of Judeo-Christian heritage

This is the third time the International Council on Monuments and Sites has rejected Palestinian Authority’s proposal for a strictly Muslim inscription on a “World Heritage in Danger” list, based on the request’s  exclusion of any Judeo-Christian heritage.

By TOVAH LAZAROFF

UNESCO experts warned the Palestinian Authority that it has overly focused on Hebron’s Muslim history, at the exclusion of the Judeo-Christian heritage, in its request that the West Bank’s city’s “Old Town” be inscribed on the “World Heritage in Danger” list.

The failure to make a full case for inscription as a heritage site combined with Israel’s decision to ban experts from visiting the city make it difficult to conclude if an emergency situation exists, the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) said in an 11-page report it submitted over the weekend. PA official: Palestinians will sabotage Trump regional peace plan with Israel

Palestinian officials oppose Trump peace plan: “This plan will not go into effect because the Palestinian leadership will not let it, even if there is support from some of the Arab countries. First find a solution to the Palestinian issue, and afterwards Israel can normalize its relations with whatever country it wants.”

By Daniel Siryoti

Senior Palestinian Authority officials are demanding that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas clarify U.S. President Donald Trump’s reported plan to focus on regional peace between Arab countries and Israel before addressing the Palestinian issue, as Israel Hayom reported Thursday.

During his visit to Bethlehem on Tuesday, Trump told Abbas he was interested in launching a regional peace plan based on the 2002 Saudi Peace Initiative that would normalize relations between Israel and moderate Arab countries. Continue Reading »

By Yossi Aloni

In light of the damage to the Israeli Foreign Service and the closing of embassies – for the first time since the establishment of the State, the Palestinian Authority has more diplomatic missions from Israel around the world.

This symbol adorns all the Palestinian embassies. Pay attention to the map. Does it show only Judea, Samaria and Gaza as the claimed Palestinian state?

The Palestinian Authority has 98 embassies, consulates and other diplomatic missions in 95 countries. Continue Reading »

Proposed UNRWA change would end decades of the Palestinians teaching children at the UN’s expense to not recognize Israel’s existence, and brainwashing them to want to return to “Palestine” and destroy Israel.

The “Other” Palestinians the world couldn’t care less about

Since 2011, nearly 3,500 Palestinians have been killed in Syria, but because these Palestinians were not killed by Israel, mainstream media, ‘human rights’ organizations, or even Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority have given them any attention.

The “Other” Palestinians by Khaled Abu Toameh

It seems as though the international community has forgotten that Palestinians can be found far beyond the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. These “other” Palestinians live in Arab countries such as Syria, Jordan and Lebanon, and their many serious grievances are evidently of no interest to the international community. It is only Palestinians residing in the West Bank and Gaza Strip that garner international attention. Continue Reading »

95.5% of Palestinians polled view Mahmoud Abbas’ government as corrupt

By The Associated Press

A gated community of villas with well-tended flower gardens near Ramallah may help explain why Palestinians almost universally believe there is corruption in the government of President Mahmoud Abbas.

The secluded “Diplomatic Compound,” built for senior Palestinian Authority officials on subsidized land, is one of the symbols of what many Palestinians think is wrong with their leaders – that they are cut off from the people and award themselves special privileges. Continue Reading »
