Israel’s FM: Israeli Arabs are ‘schizophrenic’ – unable to decide whether Israeli or Palestinian

 

British Telegraph reports FM Avigdor Lieberman saying in an interview that the current peace deal with a Wadi Ara land swap is best future for Israel, but Israeli Arabs are divided, unable to decide whether they’re Israeli or Palestinian.

Cybergym is using ex-IDF hackers to train companies against cyber-attacks, CNN reported.

In Cybergym, located on a farm between Tel Aviv and Haifa, private companies’ cyber warriors are challenged with simulations of real-world (or real-virtual world) scenarios, designed to train them to contain both state and individual hostile hacking attempts.

IDF sources described the airstrike, noting that it had “intercepted terrorists during their final preparations to launch rockets towards Israel”.

BERLIN – Germany has promised to strengthen security at the Holocaust Memorial in the heart of Berlin after a video published on the Internet showed a man urinating and people launching fireworks from its grey concrete structure on New Year’s Eve.

“The incidents are outrageous and to be deplored,” German Culture Minister Monika Gruetters was quoted as saying by Bild newspaper on Thursday.

Palestinians shot three mortar shells Thursday morning on an area where an IDF force was engaging in routine activity on the Israeli side of the security barrier in the southern Gaza Strip. There were no casualties and no damage was caused.

The ministry almost always refrains from launching criminal investigations of exporters who break the law, preferring to settle the cases with administrative fines – or in other words, behind closed doors in the Defense Ministry, without anything being revealed. The Israeli Air Force struck terrorist targets in Gaza Wednesday morning, wounded two Palestinian terrorists in the south of the Islamist-controlled territory, medical and security sources said.

“Two Palestinians were hit and injured by an Israeli drone while they were riding on a motorbike east of Khan Yunis,” Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra told AFP.

Hamas security sources described the two as “militants”, without saying to which group they belonged.

Since it was launched in 2000, the Taglit-Birthright program has injected more than $825 million into the Israeli economy, according to the findings of an independent study conducted by the global accounting firm Ernst & Young, which were published on Wednesday.
