UN Security Council criticizes Israel for mistreating Palestinian children

 

The UN ignored the 47 acts of terrorism against Israelis that have been carried out by Palestinian youth since last fall, as well as the non-stop incitement in Palestinian schools to hate & kill Jews, but focused on exaggerated and/or fabricated charges against Israel.

NEW YORK – Israel was criticized for committing violations against Palestinian children by countries including Venezuela, Iran and Saudi Arabia on Tuesday as the United Nations Security Council, presided this month by Malaysia, held a meeting focusing on Children in Armed Conflict.

Four monster Tunnel Boring Machines on their way to Israel

At a press conference to mark a year since the beginning of construction on the Red Line near the Israel Diamond Exchange in Ramat Gan, Transport Minister Yisrael Katz said “despite the gloomy forecasts of traffic jams from Netanya to Gadera and of the area becoming infested with rats, we have overcome everything.”

Israel’s top generic drugmaker buys rival in $40 billion acquisition

 

The $40-billion acquisition, the largest in Israel’s history, gives Teva Pharmaceutical a large market lead and catapults it into the top 10 pharmaceutical firms globally.

Teva Pharmaceutical on Tuesday completed its $40 billion acquisition of the generics arm of rival Allergan, a move the Israeli firm hailed as confirmation of its intention to become one of the world’s largest drugmakers.

“Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. and Allergan plc today announced that Teva has completed its acquisition of Allergan’s generics business (Actavis Generics)” the Israeli company said in a statement.

Ali Abu Hassan, 20, from the Hebron area, is the terrorist who was stopped while attempting to carry out a bombing on the Jerusalem light rail two weeks ago, it was cleared for publication on Tuesday.

Abu Hassan, a civil engineering student at the Polytechnic University in Hebron, made the pipe bombs he planned on using for the attack himself.According to prosecutor’s statement filed by police on Tuesday, Abu Hassan left a will at the university before setting out to commit the attack. Mazel Tov! 60 yr-old woman gives birth to first child in central Israel

This morning at the Kaplan Medical Center, a 60-year-old woman gave birth to a healthy and strong baby girl, during a successful delivery fraught with challenges.

A 60-year-old woman has given birth at the Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot to a healthy baby girl, Channel 10 reported this morning (Tuesday). The girl weighed 2.2 kilograms (4.8 pounds).

Dr. Yael Naaman, one of the doctors who oversaw the birth, noted that “the baby was born healthy and strong, and has been passed to a child specialist for further treatment.”

Iranian official exposes Palestinian President Abbas of being CIA collaborator

Palestinians continue to condemn ‘Israelization’ of Jerusalem

 

Maintaining their rights to use education as a tool in fulfilling their ultimate goal of acquiring all of Israel one day, Arab-Israeli Knesset Members released a statement acknowledging their intent to continue the Palestinian curriculum, which praises terrorists and treats Israel as a temporarily occupied area.

The Palestinian Authority and members of the Israeli Arab population slammed the Education Ministry for its “Israelizing” policies in education in the eastern part of Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Ministry of Education criticized the Jerusalem policies in a statement published on July 30. The statement was signed by Palestinian Education Minister Sabi Saydem, by several Israeli Arab public figures, and by Israeli-Arab MKs Ahmed Tibi and Jamal Zahalka.

The IDF’s Eitan high speed APC will enable rapid deployment of forces to critical areas and will also be equipped with the Trophy active protection system, that intercepts RPGs and neutralizes anti-tank missile threats.

Arab driver arrested after Israeli border personnel discovered 4 pipe bombs in his car at a Security Checkpoint from the W.Bank. That incident followed an earlier shooting by IDF when a Palestinian terrorist attacked Checkpoint soldiers with a knife.

Hamas on Sunday called on the Saudi government to prevent “normalization” visits to Israel after a visit to the Jewish state by former Saudi General Anwar Eshki and a delegation of Saudi businessmen and academics earlier this month.

In a statement posted to its website, Hamas requested that Saudi Arabia “take measures to prevent these normalizing visits that [Israel] uses to undermine the rights of Palestinians and penetrate into the [Muslim] nation in thought and culture,” the Times of Israel reported.
