Execution carried out on Arab who sold property to Jews

Israeli lawmakers cry foul when a Palestinian man who was wanted by the PA for brokering a land transaction to Jewish buyers, a crime punishable by death, was executed in Jaljuliya, an Israeli-Arab town in central Israel near Kfar Saba.

A Palestinian Arab man that was shot to death in the city Jaljuliya on Friday was wanted by the Palestinian Authority for selling land to Jews.

Ahmad Salamah’s (pictured in Tweet below) suspicious death was noted by Likud lawmaker Yehuda Glick, who alleged that the PA had killed him for his role in brokering land sales to Jews, a crime punishable by death. Continue Reading »

President Trump picks Heather Nauert as Nikki Haley’s replacement to UN

U.S. State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert, who just 18 months ago was a Fox News anchor, is President Trump’s choice to replace Nikki Haley as the next U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, if confirmed by the Senate.

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to announce he will nominate State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert to be the next U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, officials familiar with the plans said Thursday.

Jerusalem poised to become world’s leading city in tourism growth for 2018

The Euromonitor reports Israel’s capital is poised to see a 38% spike in inbound tourism by end of 2018.
• Figures indicate Jerusalem’s increasing popularity is due to “relative stability and a strong marketing push.”

Jerusalem is poised to become the world’s leading city in tourism growth, according to a new report by leading market research firm Euromonitor.

According to the report, the number of tourists around the world will hit 1.4 billion in 2018, an increase of 5% over last year. Jerusalem is set to lead in growth, with an expected 37.5% following a “more modest” increase of 32% in 2017. Continue Reading »

Hamas Sentences 5 to Hang, 1 to be Shot For Collaborating With Israel

Of the 14 charged with “collaborating” with Israel, a Hamas military court in the terrorist controlled Gaza Strip sentenced six people including a woman to death.

In total 14 people were sentenced for “collaborating with the occupation,” with five sentenced to be hanged and one shot, and eight others were sentenced to hard labor ranging from six to 15 years. It was not clear when the executions of those in custody would take place.

A Hamas interior ministry spokesperson said, “those convicted were linked to a communications and eavesdropping device planted by the (Israeli) occupation.”

U.S. Ambassador: U.N. cannot vote away Jerusalem as Israel’s capital

US Ambassador Demands Release of Arrested Palestinian-American

The U.S. envoy to Israel has demanded the immediate release of a 55 yr-old Palestinian man who also holds American citizenship, arrested over 2 months ago and still detained by Mahmoud Abbas’ security services for facilitating the sell of a property to a Jew.

US Ambassador David M. Friedman has demanded the immediate release of Isaam Akel, a Palestinian-American arrested by the Palestinian Authority security forces two months ago for engaging in a real estate transaction with Jews in the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City.

CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill addressed the opening meeting of the United Nations commemoration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People Wednesday.

“This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Nakba,” he said.

“The Israeli nation continues to restrict freedom,” Hill stated. “There are more than 60 Israel laws that deny citizenship rights to Palestinians just because they are not Jewish.”
