Israel Police arrest 32 Jerusalem Arabs for joining Palestinian security forces

In Israel’s tit for tat for the Palestinian Authority’s arrests of Arabs who sell property to Jews, Israel Police have arrested 32 Arabs living in East Jerusalem for violating Section 7 of the 1993 Oslo Accords Law, which prohibits enlistment in the armed forces of the Palestinian Authority.

The Israel Police arrested 32 residents of east Jerusalem on Monday morning, the latest in a series of measures against Palestinian Authority civilian and security officials who are believed to be carrying out various illegal activities in east Jerusalem.<

Chad president vows renewal of diplomatic ties with Israel “in the coming weeks”

Having severed diplomatic relations with Israel in 1972, visiting Chadian President Idris Deby tells reporters that his African Muslim country plans to reestablish diplomatic ties with the Jewish State “in the coming weeks” to promote common interests.

Palestinian terrorist rams 3 IDF soldiers in vehicle attack

Two IDF soldiers sustain light injuries, one in moderate condition in car ramming terrorist attack near the Gush Etzion junction in Judea and Samaria

Three IDF soldiers were injured in varying degrees Monday when they were hit by a Palestinian vehicle near the large Gush Etzion intersection in Judea.

The event has been characterized as a terrorist ramming attack.

Israeli forces fired at the Palestinian driver and killed him.

Airbnb to be investigated by US Senate author of ‘Israel Anti-Boycott Act’

With over half of US states having passed anti-BDS legislation, an author of the ‘Israel Anti-Boycott Act’ in the Senate, Sen. Rob Portman of Ohio (Rep), wants to hear from Airbnb.

WASHINGTON – Airbnb’s move this week to delist properties located in Jewish settlements in the West Bank from its website prompted enough of an outcry in Israel to be heard in Washington, where key lawmakers are expressing concern and raising the prospect of legal action against the service giant.

Israeli University develops technology turning human waste into biofuel

Providing solutions to two growing environmental problems, sanitation and clean energy, researchers at Ben-Gurion University in southern Israel have permuted reusable fuel and a nutrient-rich fertilizer from human excrement.

Just in time for World Toilet Day (November 19), Ben-Gurion University of the Negev publicized results of a pilot study demonstrating that raw human excrement potentially can be converted into a safe, reusable fuel and nutrient-rich fertilizer.

According to the groundbreaking study published recently in the Journal of Cleaner Production, researchers at the Ben-Gurion University Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research refined a process using hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) to heat solid human waste in a special “pressure cooker” to create hydrochar, a safe, reusable biomass fuel resembling charcoal. Israel to supplement F-35 jets with Boeing’s enhanced F-15 IA fighter jets

Along with additional F-35i multirole stealth fighter purchases, the IAF has decided to upgrade its unfailing F-15 fleet with Boing’s improved IA model that’s enhanced with advanced avionics and capable of extended ranges with the ability to deploy a full complement of 13 tons of explosives.

The new F-15 IA was chosen by the IDF and Israel Air Force (IAF) as the new fighter jet to be acquired over the next decade, according to an official announcement Saturday.

Hezbollah media stirs Jordanians against Netflix for portraying Amman as Tel Aviv

Although the Netflix produced TV show is set in Israel’s largest city, large segments are being filmed in the Jordanian capital, so the Lebanese newspaper is angering the public in how they report producers having some local [Jordanian] actors wearing IDF uniforms.

A new Netflix series currently being filmed in Amman sparked anger in Jordan after it was revealed the Jordanian capital is being used as a stand-in Tel Aviv, where the show is set.

According to Lebanese newspaper Al Akhbar, the American streaming company decided to film the project in Amman due to budgetary restrictions. The production is reportedly filming at some 50 different locations in the Jordanian capital. Continue Reading »

Stan Lee’s final essay, ‘Comic Books and the Holocaust’

Jewish cartoonist, Stanley Martin Lieber, better known as Stan Lee, laureate of the 2008 National Medal of Arts, saw the comic book medium as an educational tool that can promote an effective channel in combating anti-Semitism.

 

Note: Legendary comic book creator Stan Lee, who passed away this week, took a strong interest in the Holocaust in recent years. His final published essay appeared as the introduction to the recent book We Spoke Out: Comic Books and the Holocaust, by Neal Adams, Rafael Medoff, and Craig Yoe (IDW / Yoe Books, 2018). 

We Spoke Out features Holocaust-related comic book stories, including superheroes from Stan Lee’s Marvel Universe such as Captain America, the X-Men, and Captain Marvel. Continue Reading »

With French authorities now prosecuting 15 members of the Hezbollah ‘criminal organization’ in Paris, the trial examines how Columbian narcotics money is being laundered in Germany to buy weapons for Syria, and possibly against Israel.

Lax German illicit terror finance policies permitted the US and EU proscribed Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah to run a vast criminal enterprise to raise funds through a money laundering operation in Europe and South America. French prosecutors put fifteen members of the criminal organization on trial on Tuesday  in Paris.

An Israeli plan to build a cable car to Jerusalem’s historic Old City has united architects and Palestinian activists in opposition to a project they say is both an eyesore and a ploy to entrench Israeli control over the city’s contested eastern sector.

Palestinian Police Chief suspended for assisting IDF soldiers fix flat tire

After photos of Hebron police chief Col. Ahmad Abu al-Rub, angered Palestinians on social media, he was suspended and referred to “investigative committee” for “collaboration with Israel,” when he helped Israeli soldiers change a flat tire.

Palestinian Terrorists from Gaza Posts New Rocket Photos on Social Media

Palestinian terrorist group, Islamic Jihad published pictures of a new Gaza-made heavy warhead missile that likely struck the Ashkelon building killing a Palestinian father of 6, the only fatality from the over 500 fired.

Islamic Jihad released pictures on Thursday of the new rocket with a heavy warhead, which they announced had been fired toward Ashkelon during the escalation of violence earlier this week.

The IDF has been concerned about heavy mortars which could carry 150-200 kilogram warheads, and which would inflict heavy damage on the Israeli home front.
