They named the dead youth as Orwa Hammad, 17, and said he was shot in the village of Silwad.

2 IDF soldiers wounded on Israel-Egypt border

Two soldiers were wounded on Wednesday in a shooting incident near the border with Egypt, the Israeli military confirmed.

The two were soldiers from the mixed Caracal infantry battalion, one of them a female company commander. They were evacuated by helicopter to the Soroka Medical Center, Be’er Sheva.

Two IDF soldiers were wounded when a blast went off near an IDF outpost on Mount Dov in the Golan Heights. IDF confirmed it has returned fire into Lebanon and the soldiers sustained light to moderate wounds, respectively.

IDF opens fire on armed Lebanese cell crossing into Israel

The IDF opened fire on a cell trying to infiltrate into Israel from Lebanon on Sunday.

The IDF said a unit dealing with operational border security identified the cell crossing the Israeli-Lebanese border (the Blue Line).

The unit opened fire with small arms fire, apparently striking one of the suspects.

Murderers of the Three Jewish Teens Shot Dead

Amer Abu Eisha & Marwan Kawasmeh of Hevron were located by Israel Security forces and ultimately killed in an exchange of gunfire.

Marwan Kawasmeh and Amer Abu Eisha of Hevron, who abducted and murdered three yeshiva boys Eyal Yifrah, Gilad Sha’ar, Naftali Frenkel in June, were located and killed in exchange of gunfire early Tuesday morning.

The operation was carried out by the Yamam, a special unit of the Border Police, and the IDF, in Hevron. An attempt was made to arrest the suspects but an exchange of fire developed in which they were killed.

The operation was made possible by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), which located the murderers’ hideout.  Continue Reading »

Israel confirms Lebanese report: IDF UAV crashes in southern Lebanon

 

 

IDF spokeswoman confirms reports which 1st surfaced in Lebanese media, that an Israeli drone went down and says the IDF is investigating circumstances of crash.

An Israeli drone crashed in Lebanon on Saturday morning, an IDF spokeswoman confirmed. The plane crashed due to a technical malfunction during a regular surveillance mission along the northern border.

Media outlets in Lebanon first reported that a drone had fallen in the southern town of Marjayoun. The Beirut-based Al-Manar TV station, which is associated with Hezbollah, said the army had taken hold of the downed aircraft. Continue Reading »
