New Strawberry Named After Slain MAGAV Policewoman

 

Israel’s Volcani Agricultural Institute, along with Uri Ariel, the Minister of Agriculture, honored the memory of Israel Borderguard policewoman Hadar Cohen (ז”ל), by naming a new strain of strawberry in her name.

The Volcani Agricultural Research Organization has decided to name a newly developed strawberry strain after Border Police Cpl. Hadar Cohen, who was killed in a terror attack at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem last February.”Hadar’s favorite fruit was strawberries,” said Hadar’s mother, Sigal.

Hamas rallies behind North Korea after threatening Israel

 

According to an Israeli report, Hamas welcomed North Korea’s threat against Israel saying, “Hamas condemns the Israeli attack on Pyongyang and stresses that the occupation is the leader of evil.”

The Hamas terrorist organization on Sunday thanked North Korea for issuing a threat against Israel a day earlier.

“Hamas condemns the Israeli attack on Pyongyang and stresses that the occupation is the leader of evil,” the group said, according to the Hebrew-language Walla! news website.

Hamas also said it appreciated the statements made by North Korea in condemnation of the “continuation of the occupation”, as well as its support for the Palestinian people “until it achieves its freedom.” Continue Reading »

Hamas parliament member and religious leader Marwan Abu Ras, accused Palestinian Authority leader Abbas of being a “traitor” and who should be killed.

The al-Ahrar terror group slammed the “fascist” steps the Palestinian Authority has taken against Gaza, including cutting public workers’ salaries and ceasing to fund Gaza’s power plant.

Al-Aharar was founded by a group of Gaza terrorists who broke away from Fatah. The group is close to Hamas.

UNESCO to vote on Palestinian’s anti-Israel resolution on Israel’s Independence Day

 

This latest resolution, submitted by Arab countries on behalf of the Palestinian Authority, a member of UNESCO, rejects all Israeli sovereignty over entire city of Jerusalem including what was the capital before East Jerusalem was reunited.

The United Nations cultural organization UNESCO, a body with a robust anti-Israel track record, is set to vote on a resolution challenging Israeli sovereignty over the entire city of Jerusalem. The vote is ironically scheduled for May 1, the eve of Israel’s Independence Day.

The draft resolution, submitted to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization by Arab nations on behalf of the Palestinians, states that “any action taken by Israel, the occupying power, to impose its laws, jurisdiction, and administration on the city of Jerusalem, are illegal and therefore null and void and have no validity whatsoever.” Continue Reading »

According to Palestinian Authority TV host Imad Hamato, Israel is waging war against the Muslim world via “sex mania.”

In a broadcast translated by the Palestinian Media Watch, Hamato, who was appointed by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as dean of Gaza’s Al-Azhar institutes in October 2016, can be seen denouncing Israel’s threats to Muslim modesty protocols.

REPORT: Caught London terrorist was ‘humanitarian’ on Gaza 2010 flotilla ship Mavi Marmara

 

Khalid Omar Ali, arrested with concealed knives near the parliament on Thursday, claimed to have been an activists aboard the Mavi Marmara, where IDF soldiers were attack with knives and metal rods.

The man arrested carrying knives close to the parliament in London on Thursday, was on board a Gaza flotilla ship raided by Israeli soldiers in 2010, the Reuters news agency reports.

The man, named by sources to the agency as 27-year-old Khalid Omar Ali, is being held in custody on suspicion of terrorism offense and possession of an offensive weapon. Wisconsin students pass BDS resolution blaming Israel for violence against African-Americans

 

During the debate over a divestment resolution, University of Wisconsin anti-Israel activists called the Jewish community “oppressors”, saying Jewish students oppose divestment against Israel because it threatens their “white privilege.”

The student government of the University of Wisconsin-Madison unanimously passed on Wednesday a divestment resolution targeting companies operating in many countries that included an amendment specifically about Israel.

Israel’s Housing Minister pushes massive building plans for Jerusalem

 

Israel is advancing proposals for 25,000 housing units in the capital, including large construction projects in eastern Jerusalem, Pisgat Zeev and Gilo.

Israel is planning a series of housing projects in the capital, amounting to one of the largest waves of construction in Jerusalem in recent years.

Ahead of President Trump’s expected visit to Israel in May, the Housing and Construction Ministry has proposed the construction of some 25,000 new housing units in Jerusalem, including more than 15,000 in neighborhoods liberated in the 1967 Six Day War.

According to the proposed plan, 10,000 new units would be built in the capital’s western neighborhoods, along with 15,000 in neighbohoods built after 1967, including Pisgat Zeev and Gilo. Continue Reading »

Israel downs intruding unmanned aircraft from Syria

 

The IDF successfully launched a Patriot missile & destroyed an unknown UAV that violated Israeli airspace over the Golan Heights.

The Israeli Defense Forces on Thursday launched a patriot missile at an unmanned aircraft (UAV) from Syria nearing the Israeli border, violating Israeli airspace.

“The IDF will not allow any breach of Israel’s airspace and will act against any attempt of infiltration,” said the IDF in a statement.

Abbas threatens Hamas: Political power in Gaza for electrical power in Gaza

 

After Gaza’s sole power-plant was shut down due to Hamas’ refusal to purchase fuel, PA President Mahmoud Abbas informed Israel he is stopping all payments for electricity that enters Gaza if Hamas does not yield some of its political control over Gaza to the Palestinian Authority.

The Israel Air Force reportedly attacked an Iranian arms depot near the Damascus International Airport early Thursday morning, according to the Hezbollah-affiliated al-Manar television station.

According to various reports, a series of explosions at fuel tanks and warehouses near the airport rocked eastern Damascus at around 3:20am.
