After consultations with his gov’t, having traveled to Israel to participate in Holocaust Memorial Day, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel chose to meet with two blatantly anti-Israel NGOs over a meeting with Israel’s elected Prime Minister.

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel made a choice during his visit to Israel. He chosen to meet with two subversive NGOs rather than sit with Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Police discover trove of illegally held artifacts among weapons during raid on Palestinian home

 

Items dating from Hasmonean, Bar Kokhba, Second Temple, Assyrian, Roman and other periods are seized, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
• Suspect, accused of illegal commerce, says he bought the artifacts for his own private collection.

Hundreds of archaeological artifacts, including items believed to be from the Bar Kokhba, Hasmonean, Second Temple, Assyrian, Roman and other periods, were confiscated early Tuesday in a joint raid by the police and Israel Defense Forces on a home belonging to a Palestinian man in the village of Huwara near Nablus.

Would-be murderer shot, neutralized at the scene near Huwara by soldier, with no injuries to Israeli side in 2nd such incident in the area in 2 days.

A knife-wielding Palestinian assailant attempted to stab Israeli security forces stationed near Huwara in the West Bank on Wednesday, the IDF said.

The would-be attacker was shot and wounded before being apprehended by Israeli forces. There was no injury to the Israeli side in the second such incident in the area in the past two days.

European governments finance civilian Palestinian organizations with clear ties terrorist groups to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a new NGO Monitor report said Monday.

Leila Khaled came to public attention for her role in a 1969 hijacking in one of four simultaneous airline hijackings by Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terrorists.

Three F-35 stealth fighter jets landed on Sunday in Nevatim Airbase in the Negev, joining two others that arrived about four months ago.

The three planes will undergo a thorough testing and implementation procedure lasting about a year.

An Arab terrorist attempted Tuesday afternoon to carry out a stabbing attack against IDF soldiers near the headquarters of the Military Intelligence in Samaria.

The terrorist was shot by IDF forces while carrying out the attack. His condition is defined as critical. No further injuries were reported.

Israel Police arrest an 18yr-old Palestinian male from the West Bank after lightly wounding three men and a woman in a horrific stabbing rampage near Tel Aviv’s Leonardo Beach Hotel on Hayarkon Street.

An 18-year-old Palestinian from the West Bank stabbed and lightly wounded three men and a woman in Tel Aviv near Leonardo Beach Hotel on Hayarkon Street Sunday afternoon.

Policemen and MDA teams were immediately called to the scene, where the assailant was arrested.

IDF retaliates, hitting Syrian targets after 3 mortars land in Israel’s Golan Heights

 

IDF unit opened fire on a position where 3 mortars were fire on Friday afternoon that landed & exploded in the Golan Heights. –  No physical injuries or damage were reported.

Lebanon PM Hariri asks UN to mediate end to “continuous violations” by Israel

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri asked the United Nations on Friday to help Lebanon and Israel move towards a permanent ceasefire and end what he called Israel’s “continuous violations” of Lebanese territory.

Israel and Lebanon’s Shi’ite Hezbollah group fought a month-long war in 2006 that concluded with a cessation of hostilities but without a formal peace deal.

3 more F-35 stealth fighters to arrive in Israel Sunday

 

Upon delivery of the 3 new F-35s to the IAF, Israel’s fleet of the advanced stealth fighter-jets are to be modified with uniquely Israeli electronics, designating the further advanced aircraft as the F-35i.

Israel is to take delivery of three more F-35 stealth fighters from the United States on Sunday, adding to two which arrived in December, an army statement said.

They are among 50 that Israel has agreed to buy from aerospace giant Lockheed Martin.

Hezbollah officer tells reporters Israel boosting its border defenses

 

As tensions rise along the Lebanese border with Israel, the Shiite terrorist group claims the IDF is fortifying its border for the next conflict.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah sought Thursday to show that Israel is building up defences in anticipation of another conflict, after a string of statements from Israeli officials warning of a potential confrontation.

The powerful Shiite group, which fought a devastating war with the Jewish state in 2006, brought dozens of journalists on a rare and highly-choreographed trip to the demarcation line between Lebanon and Israel.
