WASHINGTON – A large group of 106 House Democrats sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday urging him to reverse “immediately” his recent announcement regarding the legality of the settlements.

Dutch parliament rejects EU’s mandatory labeling of settlement goods

The Netherlands’ House of Representatives deemed the EU’s top court ruling as discriminatory, ignoring their ruling to label only the Jewish products from Judea and Samaria until a similar standard is applied to all disputed territories worldwide.

The Dutch parliament on Tuesday passed motion bucking against a recent ruling by the European Court of Justice ordering the bloc’s 28 member-states to label Israeli goods made in Judea and Samaria settlements.

Iranian targets in Syria struck in overnight retaliatory operation

IDF reports ‘dozens’ of Iranian militia targets in Syria were struck in an overnight IDF operation by Israeli warplanes over Damascus, in retaliation for multiple rockets fired by Iranian proxies a day earlier.

The Israeli military said that it had successfully struck over a “dozen” targets in Syria overnight Wednesday in retaliation for Iranian proxy fire a day earlier.

Syria state media reported that at least two were killed in the Israeli attack.

Israel’s Iron Dome intercepts 4 Syrian missiles fired at Golan Heights

Four rockets fired from Syrian territory toward Israel’s side of the Golan Heights were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system.
– IDF: No injuries reported, no rockets exploded in Israeli territory.

A siren was sounded on Tuesday morning, just before 5:00 a.m., in the Golan Heights area. Residents reported hearing explosions.

The IDF confirmed that four launches were identified from Syria towards Israeli territory which were intercepted by the Israeli air defense systems.

No hits on Israeli communities were identified. There were no reports of injuries.

Report: Israel-Egypt natural gas pipeline partnership a ‘done deal’

The partners in Israel’s Leviathan & Tamar offshore gas fields planned to sell $15 billion worth of natural gas to an Egyptian customer, Dolphinus Holdings, but last month 34% more gas was requested, now estimating the deal worth $20 billion.

A deal that would transfer control of a natural gas pipeline between Israel and Egypt is expected to be closed in the next few days, the companies said on Sunday.
