Israel Security shoot, kill Palestinian terrorist during attempted knife attack in West Bank

A suspected terrorist was shot and killed by Israeli security forces Thursday morning after attempting to stab a soldier at the Beit Einoun junction located close to the Kiryat Arba settlement and the West Bank city of Hebron.

No Israelis were injured in the event.

The incident follows a deadly attack earlier in the week within the same area.

Israeli Air Force (IAF) fighter jets launched a strike on Wednesday morning against a terror cell in northern Gaza.

The cell engaged in planting explosives on the security fence targeting soldiers patrolling the border with Gaza. According to the IDF, direct strikes on the terrorists were identified.

Germany’s fifth Dolphin-class submarine arrived in Israel’s Haifa port Tuesday, where top government and military officials welcomed the newest addition to Israel’s navy.

According to Al Jazeera, dozens of Israelis from West Bank towns are renting  rooms and vacation homes to tourists, provoking the ire of pro-Palestinians, who were unable to get a reaction from the California-based company.

The Washington Post reports that 3 American citizens are suing the Israeli gov’t for compensation over injuries sustained during IDF commando raid on flotilla attempting to breach Israel’s legal maritime blockade of Gaza.

The Kingdom may be concealing the number of its Palestinian population reporting them as 6%, but global estimates suggest a figure of around half the population.

The results of Jordan’s census in 11 years, carried out in November with results published on Monday, may be hiding the true number of Palestinians in the country. Jordan’s Al-Rai newspaper, cited by Israel’s Ynet news site, reported that the country is now home to 9.5 million people, an increase of 4.4 million compared to the 2004 census.
