Trumps takes on unbridled anti-Semitism propagating on US campuses

By signing the Executive Order, Trump’s presidential directive will broaden the existing definition of anti-Semitism to that of the IHRA, so that “targeting of the State of Israel” and singling it out for criticism above other nations will not spill over into religious discrimination that targets Jewish students.

U.S. President Donald Trump plans to sign an executive order on Wednesday that would treat “Jewishness” as a nationality and not just a religion, making anti-Semitism subject to a law that bars discrimination on the basis of national origin at educational institutions that receive federal funding. The Israeli angle: The Muller report, which examined Russian involvement in the US presidential election, showed that Donald Trump worked to counter anti-Israel bias at the United Nations even before he entered the White House.

According to a report by Barak Ravid for Channel 13 News, Trump, his adviser Jared Kushner and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, worked with several foreign governments to prevent the Security Council Resolution condemning the Jewish presence over the so-called Green Line in December 2016,

The end of an era: Trump White House ends, ‘The Palestinian Exception’

The ‘Palestinian Exception’, practiced by the previous three US Presidents,  involved allowing the PLO, PA and their supporters a ‘free-pass’ for behavior that would have otherwise been acknowledged as illegal, but ignored simply because the perpetrators were Palestinians or activists in their stead.

When Rosh Hashanah ended on Tuesday evening, Jews discovered that over the holiday, the Trump administration had enacted two policies – one foreign and one domestic – that on their face, don’t appear to be connected. But actually, they stem from the same rationale. And both together and separately, these two policies give Jews much to be thankful for. Continue Reading »

Trump’s trump card breaks 50-yr stalemate, Palestinians living 2nd ‘catastrophe’

Palestinian intransigence has forced Trump to look at the conflict as a ‘business deal’, uniquely changing the paradigm. To the Palestinian’s ire, there’s a ‘revolution’ to move forward – for both US fiscal responsibility, and Israel’s future…. or as the PLO would call it, a ‘nakba’ [catastrophe].

By Yochanan Visser

A revolution is taking place in the way the United States deals with the Palestinian Israeli conflict and it could have serious ramifications for the security situation in Israel some say while others see God’s hand in the stunning developments.

By Tsvi Sadan

Trump’s presidency divides Americans like never before. Most, however, would agree that his policy decisions vis-a-vis the Middle East match Israel’s interests, and at least on this point, Israel’s friend–Democrats and Republicans, alike–should support him. And Trump’s new policy regarding the Palestinian refugees is no exception.

As published in the Israeli media, come September, Trump is going to denounce Palestinian claims to a “right of return” to Israel. Continue Reading »

Palestinians Claim UN No Longer Credible Due to America’s Right of Veto

Palestinian leaders, enraged at President Trump for blocking their ability to cynically manipulate the UN for political support, are now seeking ways to rid the United States of its veto powers at the Security Council.

By Ryan Jones

The United Nations has lost all credibility.

Not because it puts repressive regimes like Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iran on the councils responsible for human and women’s rights.

No, the UN has lost all credibility because it allows America to prevent the Palestinians from wasting the world’s time with pointless (and unsubstantiated) condemnations of Israel.

That, of course, according to the Palestinian Authority itself. Continue Reading »
