Hamas refuses humanitarian aid donated by Israel

Despite the dire situation of the Gaza health system with all the hospitals full and their lack of medical supplies, Hamas officials on Tuesday have refused to receive the humanitarian aid Israel donated.

Israel approves humanitarian relief measures for Hamas dominated Gaza

Despite official Israeli position that there’s no humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the IDF agrees to move forward on a series of measures for the Gaza populace, including additional entry permits for traders and more lenient terms for the fishermen.

Israel has decided on a series of humanitarian measures to improve living conditions in Gaza, despite recently building tensions on the Gaza border in the wake of explosive charge detonations, tunnel destructions and Hamas promising to hold mass protests near the fence in the coming months.

The IDF has recently decided on the following steps to improve humanitarian conditions in the isolated enclave: traders from the strip will be allowed to enter Israel to participate in business dealings, the amount of fruit and vegetables allowed to be exported from Gaza was increased, entrance permits to younger Palestinians were granted and increased truck traffic was allowed to enter Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing. White House holds meeting on Gaza, with Israel, Arab Gulf states, despite Abbas

Ignoring the vapid Palestinian response, Israel and the Arab Gulf states were among 19 nations that attended the Trump initiative held at the White House on what needs to be done to alleviate the Gaza humanitarian crisis.
• Even though Abbas is foolishly boycotting the initiative, a senior administration official said, ‘Many of the projects could go ahead without the PA, but our goal is to involve it.’

White House to host Israel, Arab States on ‘brainstorming session’ for Gaza aid

Trump’s peace envoy Jason Greenblatt, along with his senior adviser Jared Kushner, will convene an international “brainstorming” session designed to deal with the tiny, overpopulated coastal enclave that’s suffering from gross fiscal mismanagement, misappropriation of humanitarian aid, and unbridled embezzlement, all by Hamas, the ruling government.

IDF: “The State of Israel and its army care for Palestinian life more than Hamas”

IDF soldiers hastened to treat and save the life of a wounded man who stumbled into Israel after being shot in Gaza by Hamas.

A Palestinian man from the Gaza Strip stumbled across the security fence into Israeli territory on Wednesday after having been shot by Hamas forces.

Soldiers with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), who are so often smeared as blood-thirsty racists, did not hesitate to provide the man with emergency medical treatment.

IDF Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai, head of COGAT (Coordinator for Government Activities in the Territories), took the opportunity to set the record straight, posting to Facebook in Arabic the following message to the people of Gaza:

Nothing simpler: a Palestinian passed the security fence from the Gaza Strip into Israel today after Hamas forces shot him.

“Operation Good Neighbor”: IDF’s effort to provide humanitarian aid to the Syrians

IDF’s “Operation Good Neighbor,” first revealed this past July, was initiated as an ad-hoc solution to treat Syrians who came to Israel’s border fence seeking immediate medical attention from IDF soldiers, then expanded into an organized governmental mission in June 2016, as Syria’s humanitarian needs grew.

Israel’s construction & engineering delegation continues search effort in Mexico

Israeli engineers are surveying buildings in the Mexican capital to determine whether they are safe, while others in the delegation continue searching through the rubble, still hoping to find survivors.

The IDF delegation to Mexico City on Saturday continued searching through the wreckage caused by the deadly 7.1 magnitude earthquake that devastated the country earlier this week, though at this point the chances of finding survivors are said to be very small.Because of the bleak assessments, the Israeli delegation—after consultations with the Mexican, American and Japanese rescue teams also operating in the city—gave up its surgical search methods over the last two days in favor of more massive, large-scale efforts. IDF construction & engineering unit arrives in Mexico for search & rescue

Israel’s Home Front Command delegation from the IDF that arrived in Mexico specializes in construction & engineering, that includes 71 professionally equipped soldiers & officers to assist in the logistical efforts of the locals, from their coordinated search teams, to successful rescues.
– ‘We’ll stay as long as it takes,’ said the IDF delegation’s commander.

The IDF has dispatched a rescue unit to Mexico City Thursday to assist in logistical efforts in some of the 38 buildings to completely buckle in the Mexican capital after the earthquake that hit it Tuesday.

Israel sends $1 million in emergency aid to Hurricane Harvey victims

Working alongside staff from the the Israeli humanitarian aid organization IsraAid and Movers 495, an American-Israeli-owned removals firm, the Israeli embassy in Washington began sending aid to Hurricane Harvey victims.

The US embassy in Washington DC on Tuesday packed up a truck with several tons of supplies and donations to send to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

The Times of Israel reports that staff from the embassy worked alongside staff from the the Israeli humanitarian aid organization IsraAid and Movers 495, an American-Israeli-owned removals firm.

With volunteers from Movers 495, an American-Israeli-owned removals firm, the Israeli embassy in Washington sends aid to Hurricane Harvey victims.

Israel on Tuesday sent humanitarian aid to the West African country of Sierra Leone after a deadly mudslide struck areas outside the capital, Freetown.

Authorities said more than 400 people were killed in and around Freetown on Monday after heavy rains triggered a massive mudslide. The Red Cross estimated that 600 people were still missing, and said the death toll was certain to rise. Continue Reading »

Israel admits to sending tons of food, clothing, fuel and aid to Syrian refugees

The IDF revealed that it has been providing humanitarian aid, including half a million liters of diesel fuel and dozens of generators to about 200,000 Syrian citizens living in 80 villages and towns in the Syrian Golan Heights that is controlled by ‘friendly’ rebel groups, not affiliated with ISIS.
