Palestinians reaffirm: Selling property to a Jew is “high treason”

PA Arabs who are found guilty of selling or facilitating the transfer of lands or structures to Jewish Israelis can be sentenced to death. In the past, Palestinians suspected of doing so have been kidnapped and later found dead in east Jerusalem or the West Bank.

For the second time this year, the Palestinian Islamic religious authorities in Jerusalem reaffirmed a ban on selling property to Israelis, and warned that any Palestinian involved in such transactions would be accused of “high treason.”

Jerusalem’s Mayor to remove UNRWA from Jerusalem, exposes sham

Jerusalem’s Mayor Nir Barkat goes to war on UNRWA, having formulated a detailed plan of action to completely remove the corrupt organization & their officials from Israel’s capital and replace its services with municipal services that are shared by the entire city.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat revealed on Thursday evening a detailed plan of action he had devised to remove the UNRWA organization from Jerusalem and to replace the services it provides with municipal services.

Since 1965, the organization has been responsible for some 20,000 “refugees” living in the Shuafat camp, who also bear Israeli identity cards and are entitled to the National Insurance, Education and Health Services of the State of Israel and the Jerusalem Municipality as residents of Jerusalem. Czech PM & ministers support President Zeman’s Jerusalem embassy move

To the chagrin of the European Union, whose position on Jerusalem’s status is to be the capital of a probable, future Palestinian state, the Czech Republic’s PM Andrej Babis and President Milos Zeman, along with prominent ministers of gov’t, signed a statement for “the plan to move the Czech embassy to Jerusalem.”

The Czech Republic’s prime minister and two senior ministers on Wednesday threw their support behind President Milos Zeman’s ambition of relocating the country’s embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

In April, just weeks before the United States relocated its mission to Jerusalem, Zeman announced a three-stage plan to rejig the central European state’s stance on the holy city, which ended in moving its embassy there.

Palestinian terrorist neutralized, arrested in Jerusalem, another killed in Gaza

UPDATE: A Palestinian terrorist who was neutralized & arrested during his unsuccessful attempt to stab an Israeli police officer in the Old City, has succumb to his injuries and died, while in Gaza, 2 Arabs were reported to have been killed during Hamas’ orchestrated Friday clashes with the IDF.

An Arab terrorist tried to stab a policeman on Sha’ar Hagay Street near the Shechem Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City Friday.

The terrorist was neutralized and arrested by police forces on the spot.

A Magen David Adom team treated two women for emotional trauma.

Rare, 2000+ year-old gold earring unearthed in the City of David, Jerusalem

The dazzling golden earring, definitely worn by someone from ancient Jerusalem‘s upper class, dates back to the 2nd or 3rd century BCE, during the Hellenistic period.

A Hellenistic-era golden earring, featuring ornamentation of a horned animal, was discovered in the Givati Parking Lot in the City of David National Park encircling walls of Jerusalem’s Old City.

The discovery was made during archaeological digs carried out by the Antiquities Authority and Tel Aviv University.

The spectacular gold earring, shaped like a horned animal, dates back to the second or third century BCE, during the Hellenistic period. Continue Reading »

Israel’s Shin Bet: Hamas suicide terror cell arrested, explosives destroyed

RELEASED FOR PUBLICATION: IDF security force consisting of reserve soldiers, along with the Shin Bet and Magav Border Police uncovered a Hamas terror cell centered in Abbas’ Palestinian Authority-controlled city of Shechem (Nablus) and arrested the cell’s members at the end of April.

A massive terror cell organized by the Hamas terrorist organization planned a series of suicide bombings and other terror attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces, the Shin Bet internal security agency revealed on Sunday.

Russia breaks from past policy, celebrates Russia Day reception in Jerusalem

Russia’s newly appointed ambassador to Israel, Anatoly Viktorov, said that holding Russia Day in Jerusalem was in line with Vladimir Putin’s statement last year, “that we view west Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

Paraguay’s outgoing President Horacio Cartes fulfills promise to move his country’s embassy to Jerusalem before leaving office, with it’s official opening on Tuesday, following decisions of the U.S. and Guatemala.

Paraguay’s President Horacio Cartes will open the country’s new embassy to Israel in Jerusalem on Tuesday, following similar steps by the United States and Guatemala.

Government spokesman Mariano Mercado said Cartes will leave for the trip to Israel on Saturday.The decision to move the embassy to Jerusalem has been controversial in Paraguay.

Gov’t approves Jerusalem cable car to the Western Wall

The Israeli cabinet approves the cost of Jerusalem’s tourist cable car, at an expected cost of $56 million, with its 40 cars carrying 3,000 passengers an hour across 1.4 km beginning in 2021.

PLO official announces punitive steps to protest US embassy move to J’lem
