US source: Israel armed Jordan with Cobra combat helicopters for securing its Syria, Iraq border

Although Jordan, Israel and the Pentagon declined to comment, unnamed American official leaks to the press that Jerusalem gave US-supplied attack choppers to Jordan to fight off insurgent threats.

Israel has given retired US-supplied Cobra combat helicopters to Jordan to help the Hashemite kingdom fend off insurgent threats on the Syrian and Iraqi borders, a US official with knowledge of the deal said.

The handover, initiated last year, was approved by Washington, which provided mechanical overhauls for the aircraft before they were incorporated free of charge in Jordan’s existing Cobra fleet, the official said. Continue Reading »

Just 5 days after being released from the IDF, a young woman going on vacation with her family gets arrested because she forgot to remove M-16 bullets from her backpack.

An Israeli in her 20s on her way to Thailand on vacation was arrested on Wednesday at the Bangkok Airport after security found 13 bullets for an M-16 rifle in her bag, forgotten there after she was released from the IDF only five days prior.

Two Israeli women, twin sisters, married to two Israeli men, twin brothers, found themselves at the same hospital, where they gave birth 20 minutes apart.

Call it a “family affair.” Two Israeli men – twin brothers – who married two Israeli women – twin sisters – saw children born to their wives not more than twenty minutes apart on Wednesday night.

The two couples are the proud parents of girls who, although not twins, clearly have a great deal in common: Their twin mothers were also born 20 minutes apart.

Israeli Border Police (MAGAV) overnight stopped and apprehended 120 Palestinians attempting to illegally cross into Israel from the West Bank.

In the early hours between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities were alerted to the large movement of potential infiltrators near Oranit, a settlement straddling the Green Line, northeast of Rosh Ha’ayin.

Border Police, with the help of volunteers, were able to track down the would-be trespassers before they reached the security fence, after which they were taken for interrogation, where it was discovered that a number of them are suspected of being security threats, or have a criminal record. American Department of Treasury has targeted three senior military commanders and a Lebanese businessman for their involved in Hezbollah’s terrorist activities in Syria.

The US Treasury Department on Tuesday imposed sanctions on three leaders of the militant group Hezbollah and a businessman in Lebanon, saying they were key players in the group’s military operations in Syria.

A 21 year old Arab man was shot and killed by Border Police in Birqin, west of Jenin, before dawn Wednesday.

A riot developed as IDF forces carried out an arrest of a wanted terrorist. Border Police forces fired at the rioters and the man – who is a resident of Birqin – was hit in the chest.

Around 180,000 Israelis, as well as millions of other people around the world, are concerned about their privacy after the parent company of Ashley Madison, a matchmaking website for cheating spouses, says it was hacked and that the personal information of some of its users was posted online.

The group behind the attack is threatening to release all of the site’s personal information — including its members’ sexual fantasies, nude photos, financial information, online conversations and real names and addresses — if the company does not take Ashley Madison offline, according to a prominent security blog. Israel’s Knesset approves harsher stone-throwing law: 10-20 years

New legislation sets 20-year sentence if intention is to cause harm, and 10-yrs for throwing at police when intention is to disrupt officers from completing duty.

Legislation to impose harsher sentences on stone-throwers passed the final hurdle on Monday night in the Knesset after it passed the second and third readings, making it into law.

Sorcerers Kill Palestinian During Exorcism That Went Wrong

PA police are investigating the beating death of a West Bank student, killed by ‘healers’.

Palestinian authorities are investigating the beating death of a 19-year-old man who was attacked by so-called “healers” during an exorcism sought by the victim’s family.

According to AFP, Ashraf Mashaal was suffering from various psychiatric deficiencies which prompted his parents to solicit the services of two “sorcerers.”

Mashaal, a 19-year-old college student who was enrolled at Hebron University, was subjected to an “exorcism” performed by the two healers, a man and a woman.
