Israel satellite images reveal Russian S-300 missile operational in Syria

PM Netanyahu, who is also acting Defense Minister stated, “We will strike at anyone who tried to harm us. Whoever threatens to eliminate us, bears full responsibility.”

The launchers of Russian-made S-300 missile defense systems deployed to Syria have been erected, new satellite images released on Tuesday showed.

The satellite images released by the Israeli satellite company ImageSat International show three out of the four systems erected in Masyaf in northwestern Syria. One launcher was observed covered by a camouflage net.

“Due to the current regional tension and the detected erection of the launchers it is possible that the mentioned activity indicates an increase of the operational level and alertness,” ImageSat said in their assessment of the images. Continue Reading »

‘Inconvenient truth’ exposed by NYT: “Palestinian government resigns”

An oxymoron was inadvertently exposed in a New York Times headline that announced this week that the “Palestinian government resigns”. So dare I ask, ‘How is there an “occupation” if the Palestinians have their own government?’

“Palestinian Government Resigns,” a New York Times headline announced this week. It must have been quite a surprise to Times readers to learn that there was such a thing as a Palestinian government, since until now, all they have heard —in the Times and other major news media— is that Israel “occupies” the Palestinian Arabs.

REPORT: Israel moves to deduct funds to Palestinians equal to its ‘Pay to Slay’

Because Israel views the Palestinian government’s refusal to end the monthly ‘Pay to Slay’ payments to terrorists and their families as evidence of the PA’s continued support for terrorism against the Jewish State, Israel’s Knesset passed a law requiring a decrease in tax transfers to the PA until the payments have stopped.

Israel’s government is said to be determining the scope of cuts to tax revenues it collects for the Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank, just days after the official end to United States support for the PA’s security services.

Twitter helps Facebook disable 783 Iran-linked accounts

The bogus Facebook accounts that were focused on Israel were run by misrepresented Iranian sources highlighting the Palestinian issue and undermining Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s credibility.

Facebook said Thursday it has removed 783 Iran-linked pages, accounts and groups from its service for what it called “coordinated inauthentic behavior.” That’s the social network’s term for fake accounts run with the intent of disrupting politics and elections.

Facebook has been disclosing such purges more regularly in recent months, including ones linked to groups in Myanmar, Bangladesh and Russia.

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan on Wednesday threatened to ban Amnesty International from Israel after the group published a report calling on popular tourism websites to boycott Jewish heritage sites.

“Amnesty International, that hypocritical organization that speaks in the name of human rights, is acting to promote a boycott of Israelis as part of a campaign of anti-Semitic delegitimization,” said Erdan.

Palestinian terrorist shot dead during stabbing-attack east of Jerusalem

A female Arab terrorist was neutralized while hastily charging towards IDF soldiers with a drawn knife in her hand at the main security checkpoint between Jerusalem and Maale Adumim.

A terrorist attack was foiled Wednesday morning east of Jerusalem, near the Adumim Interchange just west of Maale Adumim.

At just after 10 a.m., the Jerusalem district police said that they had received reports of a stabbing attempt at the al-Zaim checkpoint on Route 1, between Jerusalem and Maale Adumim.

The US technology company Intel Corporation has announced it is making a $10-billion investment in a new plant in Israel, that will create around 1,000 jobs over the next few years.

Israeli company Watergen (also Water-gen), known for developing patented technology that turns air into drinking water, is launching an at-home appliance that it says will drastically change the water consumption industry.

Mandate Ends: Netanyahu Sends European Hevron Observer Force Home

TIPH, the international observer force originally mandated in 1994 to ‘observe & document’ breaches of international humanitarian law, are to leave Hevron after incessant confrontations with Israeli security personnel and residents.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu decided Monday night not to renew the mandate of the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH).

“We will not allow the continued presence of an international force acting against us,” Netanyahu said.

The organization will be forced to leave Hevron as a result of Netanyahu’s decision.
