Hezbollah chief says Mossad killed fugitive hiding inside Bulgaria’s Palestinian Embassy

 

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah says the Mossad, with Saudi Arabia’s collaboration, successfully assassinated PFLP fugitive inside the Palestinian Embassy in Bulgaria, and “the Arab regimes don’t raise a finger.”

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah on Sunday accused Israel and its foreign intelligence agency, Mossad, of killing fugitive terrorist Omar Nayef Zayed in the Palestinian Embassy in Bulgaria in late February.

Israel’s ‘Namer’ APCs with Trophy system rolling into service

 

view videoWATCH: Since the Trophy system uses radar to detect & track threats before destroying them in mid-air, the new ‘Namers’ will be able to enter battlegrounds with anti-tank & RPG threats, and safely transport infantry or evacuate the wounded.

 

A number of Namer armored personnel carriers made over the past two months have been equipped with the Trophy HV active protection system, which destroys anti-tank missiles and rocket-propelled grenades in mid-air, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

At the end of January, the Defense Ministry revealed that the first Namer armored personnel carrier equipped with the system, made by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, had come off the production line. Continue Reading »

Jordanian diplomat nabbed smuggling into Israel month after EU diplomat caught

 

Jordanian diplomat caught ‘red-handed’ sneaking smartphones and gold bars through border with Israel, just a month after EU diplomat caught with near identical contraband.

Customs inspectors caught a Jordanian diplomat red handed trying to sneak dozens of kilograms of gold and hundreds of smartphones into Israel, in a near identical incident to a smuggling attempt in the car of a European Union (EU) representative just a month ago.

In the thwarted smuggling on Sunday, Israeli inspectors at the Allenby Bridge Crossing on the Jordan border near Jericho found the illegal goods in the private car of a Jordanian diplomat who serves at the Jordanian embassy, as he crossed in to Israel.

YouTube closes account of NGO that exposes Palestinian incitement

 

In a huge blow to the war on terror, exposing the Palestinians’ lies, deceptions and incitement to violence, YouTube has made hundreds of PMW’s videos inaccessible.

An NGO media watchdog that monitors Palestinian incitement claimed on Sunday that the video-sharing website YouTube has “terminated” their account after they released a Palestinian Authority broadcast featuring a little girl reciting a provocative anti-Zionist  poem.

CCTV cameras to be installed for surveillance of Temple Mount

 

Although no cameras will be installed inside the Al-Aqsa mosque, live-streaming footage from a CCTV grid across the holy site will be monitored by both Israeli & Jordanian officials, to help maintain order on the Temple Mount, says a Jerusalem official.

Israel and Jordan agreed over the weekend to install surveillance cameras on the Temple Mount, which would enable both parties to monitor security incidents at the Jerusalem holy site. The closed-circuit TV grid is expected to become operational before the Passover holiday, in mid-April.

Russia acquiesces following request from Jerusalem, freezes Iran missile sale

 

Following Russian confirmation that Hezbollah has already gained possession of Iranian missiles not intended for them, Moscow has accepted diplomatic requests by Israel to freeze controversial sale of heavy anti-air missiles to Iran.

Jewish community from Italian town of Biella uses world’s oldest Torah scroll

 

The Biella Torah, written 8 centuries ago and is still in use by a Jewish congregation in northern Italy, has been identified as the oldest Torah scroll in use.

A synagogue in the Italian town of Biella stores what has been identified as the world’s oldest Torah scroll still currently in use.

Carbon-14 dating conducted by the Geo-chronology laboratory of the University of Illinois dated the scroll to around the year 1250 CE.
