IDF Video details ‘secret’ Gaza targets destroyed, including Hamas subs

Among the 60 some targets hit by Israel’s Air Force, the IDF video shows stockpiles of weapons and ammunitions, destroyed, as well as a naval base housing a small fleet of unmanned submarines. The reprisal led Hamas to end all rocket attacks on Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) this week published a list of some of the 60+ terrorist targets it hit in the Gaza Strip following rocket fire against communities in southern Israel.

IAF fighter jets, attack helicopters, and aircraft struck 25 military targets belonging to the Hamas terror organization in Gaza overnight Tuesday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

The target strikes included sheds of drones used for terror purposes, a rocket manufacturing workshop, advanced naval weaponry, military compounds, training facilities, and a munitions manufacturing site.

“This is an additional strike against military targets belonging to the Hamas terror organization, which is accountable for activity from the Gaza Strip, and therefore is responsible for the severe attacks that were carried out against Israeli civilians,” said the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit in a statement. Palestinian killed on 6th and final Hamas inspired ‘MARCH OF RETURN’

In what the IDF has referred to as a violent “riot,” approximately 5,000 Palestinians participated in what Hamas planned as the final ‘March of Return’ protest on Israel’s border, that left at least 170 Gazans injured and 1 dead.

Israeli troops killed a Palestinian and wounded at least 170 protesters in the Gaza Strip Friday, Palestinian medical workers said, bringing to 44 the number killed during a six-week protest at the Gaza-Israel border.

Fifth Hamas terror-tunnel located & destroyed by IDF

Israel thwarts Hamas’ efforts to infiltrate Israel from Gaza after destroying the 5th, and according to Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, “the longest and deepest one [terror-tunnel] ever uncovered.”

Over the weekend, IDF forces thwarted another terror tunnel that penetrated into Israel, it was cleared this morning for publication.

IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Ronen Manelis said that this is the fifth tunnel that has been thwarted in Israel recently. The tunnel was foiled in the Jabaliya area.

REPORT: Palestinian journalist killed by IDF was Hamas drone operator

Yasser Murtaja apparently was a veteran member of Hamas’ security apparatus who brought drones into Gaza for intelligence gathering purposes.
– Israel’s Defense Minister, “We also saw a journalist approach the border and operate a drone.”

Yasser Murtaja, the Palestinian journalist who was shot dead by Israeli soldiers during protests along the Gaza border on Friday, was actually a Hamas activist, security officials told Israeli news site Walla!.

According the the report published Tuesday morning, Murtaja had been an officer in the Hamas security apparatus in Gaza for years.

Having attempted to destroy Israel’s security infrastructure, IDF tanks retaliate after 2 Palestinians, without entering into Israel, started a brush fire that they hoped would incapacitate the operations of Israel’s electronic border fence with Gaza.

The Israeli army shelled two Hamas observation posts in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday after two Palestinians arrived at the border fence and started a fire, the Israel Defense Force (IDF) reported on Wednesday.

The suspects approached the Karni Crossing but “did not cross the fence nor infiltrate into Israel,” the IDF statement said.

“The IDF views with severity any attempt to damage and destroy the security fence and security infrastructure,” the statement ended.

IDF floods additional terror-tunnel with materials eliminating future use

For the second time on Sunday, a terror-tunnel initially demolished during Operation Protective Edge, was re-destroyed by the IDF flooding it with materials making the tunnel Hamas has trying to recommission, unusable.

Palestinian shot dead throwing Molotov Cocktail at IDF during protests

Although IDF soldiers are now allowed to neutralize terrorists throwing fire-bombs (Molotov cocktails) with live fire, an IDF spokesperson said the two incidents, on Friday & Saturday that  left 2 protestors shot dead, will have the IDF investigating the shootings.

RAMALLAH – On Saturday, Amir Shehada, 19, died in a clash with security forces near the Yitzhar settlement, south of Nablus, the PA Health Ministry said.

Shehada was shot in the chest, according to ministry.

The IDF Ground Forces Command plans to recommend Boeing’s CH-47 Chinook tandem-rotor helicopter to the Israel Air Force as it modernizes its heavy-lift helicopter fleet, a senior officer has said.

Watch Video: IDF detonates Hamas terror-tunnel inside Gaza

The IDF released footage of their demolition of a Hamas terror-tunnel along Israel-Gaza border.

The IDF released footage Thursday of its recent demolition of a terror tunnel used by the Hamas terror organization underneath the Israel-Gaza border.

On Sunday, Israeli Air Force aircraft destroyed the tunnel, which ran from the city of Rafiah in southern Gaza to a point some 590 feet inside Israeli territory in the western Negev.

The tunnel ran underneath the Egypt-Gaza [fuel] pipeline[s].

According to IDF spokesperson Ronen Manelis, IDF forces had located the tunnel several days before the demolition. Continue Reading »

About IDF’s demolishing Hamas terror-tunnel beneath humanitarian aid crossing

WATCH IDF Video: Last night, and again this morning, the IDF destroyed a Hamas terror-tunnel dug beneath the Kerem Shalom border crossing, that intruded almost 600 feet into Israel.

IDF planes finished this morning, Sunday, demolishing a terror tunnel that passed under the Kerem Shalom Crossing from Gaza into Israel.

The IDF says with certainty that the tunnel belonged to Hamas.

The tunnel started in the Rafiah area 900 meters (2,953 feet) into Gaza and extended 180 meters (591 feet) into Israel. It passed under the gas pipeline between Egypt and Gaza.

Palestinians now exploit UNICEF in its political battles against Israel and the IDF

The nonprofit watchdog group NGO Monitor just revealed that “UNICEF Palestine” has joined other UN NGOs, such as UNESCO, UNRWA in its political war on Israel, by targeting the IDF to be added to a U.N. blacklist of organizations that violate children’s rights, e.g. Islamic State (ISIS), al-Qaida, Boko Haram and the Taliban.

2 more family members of ‘Shirley Temper’ arrested for assaulting IDF soldiers

2 more female family members of arrested ‘Shirley Temper,’ were taken to an Israeli military court Thursday and charged with “assaulting a soldier, harming the security of the area, incitement, and other felonies.”

Two more Arab women appeared in an Israeli military court Thursday after a viral video of an assault on Israeli soldiers in Judea and Samaria, an AFP journalist said.

Nariman Tamimi, 43, and Nour Naji Tamimi, 21, were detained in a case that has set Israeli and Arab social media alight.

The video filmed in the village of Nabi Saleh shows Nour and her cousin Ahed Tamimi, 17, approaching two Israeli soldiers, before shoving, kicking and slapping them while filming on mobile phones. Continue Reading »
