A man was stabbed and lightly wounded on Sultan Suleiman St. in east Jerusalem.

The terrorist, a Palestinian woman, was neutralized without injury and arrested.

Communications Minister Ayoub Kara (Likud) has begun the process of shutting down the Al Jazeera offices in Jerusalem over the network’s support for radical Islamist groups.

Arutz Sheva spoke about the network’s closure with those were interviewed several times by Al Jazeera, including Arabic culture expert Dr. Mordechai Kedar.

The five terrorists, all residents of the Hevron region in Judea, were arrested in al-Eizariya, a Palestinian Authority-controlled city just east of Jerusalem.

WATCH: Israelis venture into Siberian tundra to record Tribal families’ histories

An Israeli delegation of MyHeritage’s Tribal Quest Expedition project documented 13 family trees, with information from over 3,000 people in the isolated communities of Siberia.

A delegation of the Israeli MyHeritage company recently returned from a monthlong stay with the remote Nenets tribe, an indigenous people of the Siberian arctic.

The journey was part of a Tribal Quest Expedition project, which sees MyHeritage members documenting the stories of the people they meet as a continuation of its mission “to preserve the family histories of remote tribes.”

 

“People living in remote locations with limited access to modern technology don’t have the tools to digitize their rich family histories, and they are often left unrecorded,” the Tribal Quest web page states.

Palestinian business executives from Jerusalem allowed into Gaza

 

Israel announced 150 Palestinian investors, mostly from Jerusalem, would be permitted to enter Gaza “to improve and strengthen the economy, infrastructure and humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.”

Israel will allow Palestinian business executives from Jerusalem to visit the Gaza Strip for the first time in years, a defense ministry body said Tuesday.

COGAT, the Israeli agency that oversees civilian affairs in the occupied Palestinian territories, said it would allow in small numbers of businesspeople from annexed east Jerusalem looking to invest in the coastal territory.

India recruits IDF K-9 life-savers

 

India begins integrating elite IDF ‘Oketz’ sniffers into their security forces that specialize in search and rescue missions, guard duty, and locating explosive material.

Israeli elite sniffer and attack dogs have been imported to India to add teeth to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security team, the Indian Telegraph reported.

A ‘senior’ security official told the paper that 30 “attack dogs, bomb sniffers and chasers,” were brought from Jerusalem during the past year.

He also added that the canines were also “very effective” in combat.
