Turkish Journalist Protest ‘Humiliation’ by Security Personnel at Israel Cyber Conference

 

Turkish journalists were appalled at the excessive and offensive treatment they were required to endure at the hands of Israeli security agents at the entrance to the Cyber Conference, just as ‘Israeli and Turkey are trying to normalize relations.’

Three Turkish journalists complained on Tuesday of excessive and offensive behavior towards them carried out by Israeli security staff at Israel’s Cyber Week 2017.

In a letter obtained by The Jerusalem Post‘s sister publication Maariv, economy editor of the Daily Sabah, Seyma Eraz explained that she, Kenan Ozcan, and Emre İzkübarlas from Fox Turkey were invited by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Israeli consulate in Istanbul to cover Cyber Week 2017, taking place at Tel Aviv University. REVEALED: Red Cross has crucial roll facilitating ‘Pay for Slay’ payments to terrorists

 

Ironically, an Arab media report pointed out how it’s the Red Cross who must provide imprisoned terrorists with power of attorney paper-work to sign that ultimately facilitates receiving monthly stipends for their heinous crimes, directly to their bank accounts.

A subsection of a Palestinian Authority guideline stipulates that imprisoned terrorists must receive their salaries only after they fill out a form provided by the Red Cross, Arab media reported.

According to the report, the Palestinian Authority’s 18th guideline is intended to regulate payments to imprisoned terrorists. This guideline designates someone or something called “Wakill” as authorized via power of attorney to receive the salaries in the prisoner’s name. Continue Reading »

Israel’s Mossad invests $3m to fund R&D in new intel technology start-ups

 

The Mossad has called on entrepreneurs and innovators to develop new technologies for Israel’s intelligence agency in cutting edge fields such as energy harvesting, data encryption, and automated identification technologies.

Israel’s Security and Intelligence agency, Mossad, has announced that it will set up a fund to invest in technological innovation, the agency said in a press released on Tuesday.

An initial investment of 10,000,000 shekels (nearly three million dollars) will fund research and development programs of Israeli start-ups to develop new technologies for the intelligence agency.

According to the press release, the fund known as Libertad, is intended to “provide innovative capability for maintaining and developing the Mossad’s technological superiority by connecting to civilian cutting-edge technological startup companies.” Continue Reading »

Israeli Air Force retaliates, hits two Hamas military targets after Gaza rocket attack

The IAF airstrikes on two Hamas military infrastructures were carried out in response to a rocket attack on southern Israel that emanated from Gaza Monday evening.

The Israeli Air Force launched airstrikes on two military infrastructures belonging to Hamas in northern and southern Gaza overnight Monday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

The airstrikes were carried out in response to a rocket attack on the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council on Monday evening.

Iran mocks Israeli reports their Syria missiles fell short

 

Tehran responds to Israeli reports that most of their missiles fired at ISIS fell in Iraq, never hitting their Syrian targets, by ridiculing professionalism of Israeli assessment.

TEHRAN, Iran—Iran said Sunday the two-stage missiles it fired at ISIS targets in Syria broke apart over the Iraqi desert as planned, mocking reports that some of the projectiles fell short.

State TV’s website quoted the airspace division chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh as saying “we had coordinated the fall of the engines in the desert in Iraq” in advance.

Palestinians forcing FIFA to court to outlaw Israeli football clubs

The Palestine Football Association (PFA) appealed to the world’s top sports court on Tuesday, seeking to force FIFA to rule on the future of Israeli clubs playing in the West Bank.

The PFA argues that the presence of six Israeli clubs on its territory is in breach of FIFA statutes, which forbids another member association playing on another territory without permission.
