Newly released documents provided by the United Nations revealed on Tuesday that the Allied Powers were well aware of the Jewish Holocaust at the hands of the Nazi regime at least two-and-a-half years earlier than commonly thought, according to The Independent.

The documents, not seen for more than 70 years, showed at the same time that the Allies, made up of the United States, Russia and the United Kingdom, had prepared war crime indictments against Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and his top subordinates.

Israel Aerospace Industries has been awarded a $2 billion Indian military hardware deal, considered to be “the largest defense contract in Israel’s defense industries’ history.”

In a sharp criticism of the European Union on Tuesday, Israel’s Foreign Ministry accused Europe of focusing more time and energy on Israel’s West Bank demolition plans, than the mass of humanitarian crises happening all around the world, reported Haaretz.

“There are 32 humanitarian crises around the world, but the EU chooses to disproportionately focus only on what is done in Area C of the West Bank, which are most definitely not suffering a humanitarian crisis,” the Foreign Ministry’s EU department director Avivit Bar-Ilan reportedly said, adding that she was “astounded” at the EU’s obsession with the demolitions in Area C, which is the part of the West Bank wholly under Israel’s control. Human Rights Watch levels ultimatum to Israel over Gaza war-crimes investigation

 

HRW, known for its anti-Israel bias, accuses Israel of preventing its researchers for accessing Gaza and Egypt of preventing HRW representatives entry since 2008.

Human Rights Watch demanded on Monday that Israel allow its investigators into Gaza if it wants the International Criminal Court “to take seriously” Israel’s own war crimes investigations.

The ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda (photographed above/Wikimedia) started a preliminary examination of 2014 Gaza war crimes allegations in January 2015.

Arabs continue to go after Jewish sites in upcoming UNESCO resolution

 

Despite succsessfully removing sensitive Jewish-related holy sites in Jerusalem from an upcoming UNESCO meeting, Arab states are claiming other historicly Jewish sites, including the Cave of the Patriarchs and the Tomb of Rachel, as Palestinian sites.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) officially inaugurated the David’s Sling missile defense system on Monday. The system was designed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and American defense contractor Raytheon.

It is officially operational and functions as a part of Israel’s multi-layered missile defense program.

In this capacity, David’s Sling operates in the layer above the Iron Dome and below the Arrow system.
