Israel to seek replacing Palestinian curriculum in East Jerusalem with Israeli syllabus

 

Israel’s cabinet approved a plan to encourage schools in East Jerusalem to begin teaching the Israeli curriculum instead of the current Palestinian curriculum to “influence the future youth in the Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem and their integration into Israeli society in the long term.”

The cabinet on Sunday approved a plan submitted by Education Minister Naftali Bennett and Jerusalem Affairs Minister Ze’ev Elkin to encourage schools in east Jerusalem to teach an Israeli curriculum as opposed to the Palestinian school curriculum.

Livestock theft foiled, 150 sheep recovered, Arab thieves elude capture

 

Video: Volunteers from ‘Guardians of Judea and Samaria’ respond quickly to recover stolen flock of 150 sheep, but thieves abandon herd to escape arrest.

Last night, a family that owns a flock of sheep in the Maale Shlomo neighborhood of Kochav Hashachar in the Binyamin region was surprised to discover that Arabs had broken into the family property and stolen at least 150 sheep.

Members of “Hashomer Yosh” (“Guardians of Judea and Samaria”) acted quickly at the scene, notified security personnel and, together, they located the stolen flock after about 35 minutes.

Abbas willing to offer significant land swap with Israel in tomorrow’s Trump talks

Russia invites IDF to participate in International Army Games competition

 

IDF delegations in the fields of military medicine and logistics will be sent to Russia to compete against the military forces of 27 other countries in the annual International Army Games.

Various Arab Gulf nations are reportedly prepared to improve ties with Israel if Jerusalem takes what they deem as significant efforts to relaunch the stagnate peace process with the Palestinians, The Wall Street Journal on Monday cited sources close to the matter as saying.

Jordanian terrorist shot dead Saturday after knife-attack on Policemen in Jerusalem’s Old City

 

Israel policeman who was stabbed, responded, shot & killed 57 yr-old Jordanian terrorist near the Lions’ Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City, before being taken to Shaare Tzedek hospital in moderate condition. Another policeman was lightly injured and treated on site.
