Louisiana Gov. brings economic development delegation to Israel

At the invitation of Gilad Katz, Israel’s consul general to the Southwest United States, Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards will  lead a delegation of 2 dozen statewide business leaders to Israel this month to discuss trade prospects in water technologies & management, energy conservation, cybersecurity and more.

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards announced Thursday that he will travel to Israel later this month on an economic development trip that includes a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Palestinians reaffirm: Selling property to a Jew is “high treason”

PA Arabs who are found guilty of selling or facilitating the transfer of lands or structures to Jewish Israelis can be sentenced to death. In the past, Palestinians suspected of doing so have been kidnapped and later found dead in east Jerusalem or the West Bank.

For the second time this year, the Palestinian Islamic religious authorities in Jerusalem reaffirmed a ban on selling property to Israelis, and warned that any Palestinian involved in such transactions would be accused of “high treason.”

Israel Air Force grounds F-35i squadron

Following a crash in North Carolina of a U.S. Marine Corps F-35B, Israel grounds its fleet of ‘Adirs’ until an investigative checkup of the aircrafts is completed.

The Israeli Air Force decided to ground its fleet of F-35 fighter jets after the plane’s first ever crash last month in North Carolina.

During the crash, the Marine Corps F-35B was completely destroyed. A post-crash investigation found that a faulty fuel pipe in the engine caused the crash, leading the US to ground all of it’s F-35 planes until they can be given the once-over.

PLO: UN Special Coordinator for Middle East Peace Process, ‘unacceptable’

The PLO, basically run by PA kleptocrat Mahmoud Abbas and claimant to being “the sole representative of the Palestinian ‘people’,” has informed the UN that their Special Coordinator, “is no longer acceptable to the state of Palestine,” for bypassing Abbas to attain a cease-fire between Hamas & Israel.

The Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) informed the UN chief that Nickolay Mladenov has overstepped his role as Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process by pursuing negotiations with Hamas and trying to recruit aid into the Gaza Strip from other Arab countries.

The IDF discovers and destroys the 15th Hamas attack tunnel, this one dug 200 meters into Israeli territory, and like the others,  linked to a vast network ‎within Gaza of underground passageways.

Cleared for publication: The Israeli military ‎uncovered and neutralized a Hamas terror tunnel ‎breaching Israeli territory. This is the 15th cross-border tunnel discovered and destroyed this year.‎

UNESCO: Cave of the Patriarchs, Rachel’s Tomb are in ‘Occupied Palestine’

Kuwaiti daily reports 2 Israeli F-35i ‘Adir’ jets flew over Iran in March

Two Israeli Air Force F-35i jets reportedly flew undetected over Iran this past March, crossing into Syria, Lebanon and Iraqi airspace along the way, acquiring real-time surveillance intel on sensitive sites believed to be associated with Iran’s ‘nonexistent’ nuclear program.

Israeli stealth planes reached Iran and returned without anyone noticing, Kuwaiti daily newspaper Al-Jarida reported, citing unnamed sources.

According to the report, two IAF F-35 Adir fighter jets entered Iranian airspace last March and conducted reconnaissance flights undetected, crossing Syrian and Iraqi airspace on their way to the Islamic republic.

Israeli F-35i ‘Adir’ was photographed flying over Beirut completely unnoticed.

Hebrew U of J’lem seeks to terminate entry ban for detained US student

The Hebrew University of Jerusalem has applied to the Tel Aviv court for permission to join the defense team representing the American student, Lara Alqasem, who is still awaiting an appeal against deportation from her holding-cell at the Ben Gurion Int’l airport’s detention facility.

Arab States ask Azerbaijan’s President how he balances ties with Israel

Egyptian & PA officials accuse Palestinian autocrat for escalating Gaza crisis

Israeli parliamentarians denied access to detained American BDS supporter

Meretz Members of Knesset Tamar Zandberg, Issawi Farig and Musi Raz were not allowed to visit Lara Alqasem, the Florida university student who has been detained by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) at Ben-Gurion Airport for alleged Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions activity since arriving in Israel on Tuesday.

Lara Al-qasem, once served as Florida University president of Students for Justice in Palestine, an anti-Israel group which supports the BDS movement against Israel’s existence.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel refrained from publicly criticizing Israel over it’s pending demolition of the illegal West Bank Bedouin village of Khan al-Ahmar, during her two-day trip to Israel that ended Thursday.

“This is an Israeli decision,” she said at a morning event at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, during which the University of Haifa conferred upon her an honorary doctorate.
