Tunisia, like Lebanon, bans ‘Wonder Woman’ over Gal Gadot’s IDF service

 

After Lebanon banned Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot, a Tunisian court decides to stop screening the ‘block-buster’ movie, also because of the Israeli born actress’s IDF background.

A court in Tunisia decided Wednesday to temporarily ban the screening of the film Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot, after the film was banned from screening in Lebanon because of the Israeli actress.

The Tunisian court’s decision was made after the Tunisian People’s Party filed a petition against the screening of the film, due to Gal Gadot’s service in the IDF, claiming that she was “a partner to the latest Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip.” Continue Reading »

Who bombed ISIS killing 12, Israel & Jordan or Int’l Coalition Forces?

 

If international coalition forces were behind this attack that killed 12 and injured scores, it’ll be unprecedented, since as far as it’s publicly known, those who’ve attacked ISIS units in the Golan so far, were from Israel or Jordan.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Tuesday, “unidentified” aircrafts attacked ISIS forces at the Syrian-Jordanian-Israeli border.

According to the report, it is not clear whether these planes belong to the international coalition against ISIS.

The attacks were directed against the ISIS branch in the Golan, the Khalid ibn al-Walid Army, and at least 12 members of the organization were killed and many were injured.

IDF fire on the Gaza border kills rock-thrower, injures 7 others Palestinian rioters

 

After Palestinians in Gaza failed to yield to warning calls & then gunfire into the air to stop trying to damage, and possibly cross electronic border fence into Israel, IDF open fire on vandals and stone throwers killing one injuring 7 others.

Israeli soldiers opened fire at Palestinians who were throwing stones near the border fence in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing one man and wounding seven others, residents and hospital officials said.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said dozens of Palestinians had gathered at the fence and were trying to damage it. Soldiers on the Israeli side of the border fired warning shots in the air after their calls to halt were ignored. Continue Reading »

Jordan considers following Lebanon banning ‘Wonder Woman’ over Israeli star

 

Jordan’s Communications Commission is considering banning “Wonder Woman” because the leading actress Gal Gadot, served in the Israel Defense Forces, ignoring the Hashemite Kingdom signed a peace agreement with Israel in 1994, allowing them to gain vital intelligence from the IDF on a wide range of military matters.

Jordan is considering banning the film “Wonder Woman” because star Gal Gadot served in the Israel Defense Forces.

Jordan’s Communications Commission is currently reviewing the film to determine whether it meets the country’s standards and laws, the Israeli news website Ynet reported.

US envoy to UN Haley: UNHRC ignores those to whom they are appointed to protect

 

In an op-ed in the Washington Post Amb. Haley writes, “All too often…the victims of the world’s most egregious human rights violations are ignored by the very organization that is supposed to protect them,” called on council to “end its practice of wrongly singling out Israel for criticism,” curious “whether the Human Rights Council actually supports human rights” or whether it is “merely a showcase for dictatorships that use their membership to whitewash brutality.”

Tunneling through time: An archaeological excavation by the Israel Antiquities Authority has unearthed an 800-year-old tunnel that researchers think served as an escape route from a Crusader fortress in Tiberias to the Sea of Galilee.

London Police take 2 hrs to respond to 16 yr-old daughter of cop, after vicious assault

 

London’s Metropolitan Police Service took two hours to respond to an emergency call from local postman who promptly called after seeing a teenage girl being beaten by 2 anti-Semitic thugs for being Jewish.

A 16-year-old Jewish girl who was wounded in a violent anti-Semitic assault in London was left bleeding for two hours after the Metropolitan Police Service failed to send any officers to the scene of the crime, the British Campaign Against Anti-Semitism reported.

Scores of former Palestinian prisoners freed by Israel and living in the Gaza Strip said on Sunday their stipends from the Western-backed Palestinian Authority have been suspended in an apparent bid to appease Israel and the United States.
