Al Jazeera accused of running jihad from Jerusalem

Dr. Mordechai Kedar, who served in IDF Military Intelligence for 25 years specializing in Arab political discourse, says Israel’s decision to close Al Jazeera’s offices is long overdue, since propaganda network favors Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Communications Minister Ayoub Kara (Likud) has begun the process of shutting down the Al Jazeera offices in Jerusalem over the network’s support for radical Islamist groups.

Arutz Sheva spoke about the network’s closure with those were interviewed several times by Al Jazeera, including Arabic culture expert Dr. Mordechai Kedar.

Israeli Doctor honored by Buenos Aires Parliament for treating Syrian war victims

Dr. Alejandro Roisentul, who moved to Israel 28 years ago, is the head of the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit of Ziv Medical Center, in Safed, Israel, where “more than 1,500 Syrian have been treated for free.”

Preemptive arrests nabs 5 Palestinians en route for terrorist-attack near Jerusalem

Israel averts deadly terror attack near Jerusalem Thursday with a joint operation involving the Shin Bet, Israel Police, and the  Border Guard’s special Yamam unit capturing the five Arab terrorist cell.

Israeli authorities captured five terrorists on their way to commit a terror attack east of Jerusalem Thursday afternoon.

The five terrorists, all residents of the Hevron region in Judea, were arrested in al-Eizariya, a Palestinian Authority-controlled city just east of Jerusalem.

Neda Amin, the Iranian-born journalist who fled Iran in 2014 and was expelled from Turkey last month, arrived in Israel Thursday after being granted a special tourist visa by Interior Minister Aryeh Deri.After she failed to show up for her flight on Monday, fears arose she might have been arrested by Turkish authorities who planned to extradite her to Iran. But after Jerusalem discreetly sought answers from Ankara, Turkish authorities clarified she will be allowed to leave, following which the Israeli consulate in Istanbul purchased a flight ticket for her. WATCH: Israelis venture into Siberian tundra to record Tribal families’ histories

An Israeli delegation of MyHeritage’s Tribal Quest Expedition project documented 13 family trees, with information from over 3,000 people in the isolated communities of Siberia.

A delegation of the Israeli MyHeritage company recently returned from a monthlong stay with the remote Nenets tribe, an indigenous people of the Siberian arctic.

The journey was part of a Tribal Quest Expedition project, which sees MyHeritage members documenting the stories of the people they meet as a continuation of its mission “to preserve the family histories of remote tribes.”

 

“People living in remote locations with limited access to modern technology don’t have the tools to digitize their rich family histories, and they are often left unrecorded,” the Tribal Quest web page states.

Palestinian business executives from Jerusalem allowed into Gaza

 

Israel announced 150 Palestinian investors, mostly from Jerusalem, would be permitted to enter Gaza “to improve and strengthen the economy, infrastructure and humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.”

Israel will allow Palestinian business executives from Jerusalem to visit the Gaza Strip for the first time in years, a defense ministry body said Tuesday.

COGAT, the Israeli agency that oversees civilian affairs in the occupied Palestinian territories, said it would allow in small numbers of businesspeople from annexed east Jerusalem looking to invest in the coastal territory.

Thousands of Gazans in Jabalya marched toward the Hamas-owned electricity company in protest of repeated power outages.

Mexican group Mexichem is to buy 80% of Israel’s world-leading micro-irrigation firm Netafim for $1.5 billion, the Israeli company announced on Monday.

India recruits IDF K-9 life-savers

 

India begins integrating elite IDF ‘Oketz’ sniffers into their security forces that specialize in search and rescue missions, guard duty, and locating explosive material.

Israeli elite sniffer and attack dogs have been imported to India to add teeth to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security team, the Indian Telegraph reported.

A ‘senior’ security official told the paper that 30 “attack dogs, bomb sniffers and chasers,” were brought from Jerusalem during the past year.

He also added that the canines were also “very effective” in combat.

The IDF employs dogs to fill several tasks including bomb sniffing, attack and guarding duties and search and rescue missions. Continue Reading »

Gaza Terrorists Fire Rocket at Israel

 

Yet another rocket fired from the terrorist-run enclave explodes in an open, southern Israel field.
 – Authorities acknowledge no injuries or damage reported.

A rocket fired Tuesday evening from the Gaza Strip exploded in an open area in the Ashkelon Regional Council. There were no casualties and no damage was reported.

Ashkelon residents heard the red alert siren, followed by a loud boom as the rocket exploded, Channel 2 reprted.

IDF forces are searching the area for the remains of the rocket.

Israel TV2 reporter and cameraman beaten in Jaffa by ‘Peaceful’ Israeli Arabs

 

While reporting the funeral of a 20 yr-old Arab criminal from the Tel Aviv suburb of Jaffa, who was shot, killed by police while attempting to evade arrest, the crowd violently turned on the reporting crew and subsequently, almost no media outlet mentioned the attempted Arab lynching of the two innocent Jews.
