Palestinian reconciliation a ruse, Hamas refuses to disarm, plans to expand in West Bank

Refusing Fatah’s demand that Hamas unarm itself as required under the Palestinian reconciliation agreement, the terrorist group Hamas vowed their arsenal “will not be touched,” with plans to  expand its military activities against Israel into the West Bank.

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas vowed Monday to expand its military activities against Israel into the West Bank, underscoring the challenges ahead since the organization began its reconciliation with the Fatah party of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Hamas has ruled Gaza since winning legislative elections in 2006 and ousting Fatah the following year in a military coup, a move that prompted an Israeli and Egyptian blockade. Continue Reading »

More Iranian bravado: Admiral plans to send flotilla of warships to Gulf of Mexico

In 2014 Iranian Generals also boasted how it would send an armada of warships into the Gulf of Mexico…but they have yet to arrive.

“Our fleet of warships will be sent to the Atlantic Ocean in the near future and will visit one of the friendly states in South America and the Gulf of Mexico,” Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi was quoted by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency as saying.

Iran will likely use the warships’ visit to Latin America to advance its relationship with its ally Venezuela, a US adversary. And while Iran’s navy poses no real threat when up against the American navy, Khanzadi added that new vessels and submarines will be introduced next year to bolster the country’s fleet. Lebanon: ‘Wonder Woman’ is Mossad Agent

Lebanese daily newspaper Al Liwaa is claiming Gal Gadot is actually a ‘Mossad agent’ who allegedly recruited Lebanese actor and director Ziad Itani to spy for Israel.

Israeli actress Gal Gadot was depicted as the “Mossad Agent” who turned Lebanese actor and director Ziad Itani into an Israeli spy in a story published Monday by the Lebanese daily newspaper Al Liwaa.

Gadot’s photo was displayed on the paper’s front page with the caption: “The officer of the Israeli Mossad, Collette Vianfi, who recruited Ziad Itani.”

Other Lebanese news websites questioned the authenticity of the picture published by the newspaper, with some claiming they made a mistake as Gadot was not the “Mossad agent” Itani was accused of cooperating with. Continue Reading »

Amazon Negotiating for Shipping Center in Israel

In preparation to enter into the Israeli market, Amazon has teams of both locals & non-Israelis meeting local distribution, delivery and logistics companies, to lease warehouses of at least 270,000 square feet in the center of Israel.

Amazon is preparing to set up local retail activity in Israel. The company is negotiating the lease of warehouses in central Israel for operational activities and for supplying the local market, people familiar with the matter who spoke on conditions of anonymity told Calcalist.

If the negotiations come to fruition, Amazon will also launch a targeted website for Israeli consumers, these people said, adding that Amazon is interested in leasing a minimum 270,000 square feet of warehouses (25,000 square meters) and is more likely to prefer a location near the city of Modi’in, 22 miles (35 kilometers) southeast of Tel Aviv. Britain Buys Iron Dome Advanced Technology to Protect Falkland Islands

Rafael’s advanced technology, used in the Israeli-made Iron Dome missile defense system, has been acquired by Great Britain for NIS 365 million (£78 million) to defend the Falkland Islands from possible Argentinian aggression.

Britain purchased advanced technology used in the Iron Dome missile defense system from Israel for 78 million pounds (365 million shekels) to defend the Falkland Islands, a British Overseas Territory.

World’s largest Yacht anchors at Port of Haifa

Just over 470 ft. long and costing 360 million pounds, Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko docks his mega-yacht at Israel’s northern port of call.

The largest-sailing yacht in the world docked Friday morning in the Haifa port, where it will be docked for a few days. The yacht docked close to the pear, near the passenger terminal, where buffers were placed between the boat and the dock because it wasn’t built to hold such massive sea vehicles.

IDF’s “Operation Good Neighbor,” first revealed this past July, was initiated as an ad-hoc solution to treat Syrians who came to Israel’s border fence seeking immediate medical attention from IDF soldiers, then expanded into an organized governmental mission in June 2016, as Syria’s humanitarian needs grew.

Jerusalem to snub UNESCO prize honoring Israel’s innovative Volcani Institute

In light of UNESCO’s overtly anti-Israel character, Jerusalem has decided not to attend the 2017 Life Sciences ceremony, awarding this year’s prize to the Israeli research center, which is part of the Agriculture Ministry.
• “The prize awarded to the Volcani Institute will not serve as a fig leaf to legitimize the political resolutions of this organization, which harm the State of Israel,” commented an Israeli gov’t official.

The United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) has chosen to honor the Israeli Volcani Institute, but the Israeli government has decided to snub the event.

European Parliament President concedes to abide by law, will stop hosting terrorists

About two months after the participation of terrorist Leila Khaled as guest of honor at the European Parliament, President of the Parliament Antonio Tajani on Wednesday announced that representatives of terrorist organizations or former terrorists would not be allowed to participate in the Parliament.
