U.S. Congress to get bipartisan resolution recognizing centenary of Balfour Declaration

The resolution states that Congress “commemorates the centenary of the Balfour Declaration; affirms its commitment to maintaining the strongest of bilateral ties with the State of Israel; and recognizes the importance of the establishment of the modern State of Israel as a secure and democratic homeland for the Jewish people.”

A bipartisan resolution to be introduced in the U.S. Senate will recognize the 100-year anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.

Sens. James Lankford, R-Okla., and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., were to propose the resolution on Thursday. A concurrent resolution was to be proposed in the House of Representatives.

“It is entirely appropriate for the United States Congress to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, a statement that ultimately led to the reestablishment of the State of Israel in 1948,” Lankford said in a statement. Continue Reading »

In Unimaginably Absurd Move, European Group Awards Man for Defending Evil

European group awards Palestinian lawyer (whose own terrorist son murdered 3 on a bus) a “human rights” award for defending the wife of another terrorist, that shot, stabbed and assisted in beheading four Rabbis during prayers in a Jerusalem synagogue.

On Sunday, the Geneva-based International Institute for Human Rights and Peace and the Caen Memorial for Peace presented a “human rights” award to Palestinian Arab lawyer Mohammed Allyan.

Allyan was honored for his legal representation three years ago of the wife of one of the terrorists involved in the synagogue massacre in Jerusalem.

In that attack, terrorist Ghassan Abu Jamal and his accomplice shot, stabbed and beheaded four Jewish rabbis at worship before also gunning down one of the resounding police officers. Continue Reading »

China’s highest honor for foreign citizens goes to Israeli businessman

At a state ceremony hosted by Chinese PM Li Keqiang in Beijing, Israeli entrepreneur Amir Gal-Or, founder of the Infinity Group, was presented with China’s National Friendship Award for his work promoting Israel-China relations.

China has awarded Israeli businessman Amir Gal-Or with the country’s highest honor for foreign citizens for his work in promoting Israel-China relations and his contribution to the field of innovation.

Austrian Students’ Union rejects BDS campaign as ‘Antisemitic Boycott of Israel’

The anti-BDS resolution, passed by the Austrian National Union of Students, was nearly unanimous with no opposing votes and only a single abstention to the pledge ‘never to remain silent when antisemitism appears.’

The Austrian National Union of Students passed on Friday a motion against BDS, saying that the boycott movement targeting Israel is antisemitic, and that its demands recall the Nazis’ economic war against Jewish businesses.

It is believed to be the first time an Austrian national student union has passed such a resolution.

The Austrian Jewish students group announced on its Facebook page: “We are very happy to announce that the Austrian Students Union is the first national student union to officially pass a resolution denouncing BDS and also passing a version of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance – IHRA definition of antisemitism. Defending anti-Israel BDS, ACLU challenges Kansas in federal lawsuit

Filing a lawsuit challenging a Kanas state law which prohibits participation in boycotts against Israel, the American Civil Liberties Union claims Kansas teacher was denied a teaching contract for refusing to agree to not boycott Israel, claiming the Kansas law violates her free speech rights.

The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a federal lawsuit challenging a Kansas law prohibiting state contractors from participating in boycotts against Israel.

The ACLU filed the lawsuit Wednesday for a Wichita public school curriculum coach. It says Esther Koontz was denied a state teacher training contract because she wouldn’t sign a statement saying she wasn’t boycotting Israel. Continue Reading »

Families of Victims of Palestinian Terror Seek Justice at U.S. Supreme Court

The Jordan-based Arab Bank, strategically chosen by Palestinian terrorist groups, converted various currencies into dollars then wire transferred payments to the accounts of known Hamas operatives who murdered Israeli-Americans, violated international norms barring the funding of terrorism, so, will be judged by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday was scheduled to hold its first hearing on a lawsuit filed by Israeli victims of terrorism against Arab Bank Plc, claiming it knowingly funded Palestinian terrorist groups, including Hamas.

The United States on Tuesday announced multi-million dollar rewards for two senior members of the Hezbollah terrorist group.

Gal Gadot shared a taste of home with TV host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Thursday — when she and Fallon sampled Israeli chocolate together.

Discussing the upcoming Halloween holiday, the pair were discussing their favorite candies, and Fallon whipped out what Gadot said was her No. 1 choice.

The Facebook star who has launched a thousand viral videos has created one more – this one speaking out against the movement to boycott Israel.

Nuseir Yassin, an Israeli-Arab native of Arrabe in the Lower Galilee who goes by Nas Daily online, posted a video Sunday about Kuwait Airlines stopping him from flying from New York to India.

“Because I’m an Israeli, an entire airline is not allowed to take me on their plane even if I’m not going to Kuwait,” he said in the video. Continue Reading »

Norwegian Minister: ‘Europe now understands what Israelis live through’

The European Parliament in Brussels invited Palestinian terrorist Leila Khaled to speak Tuesday at an official conference on “The Role of Women in the Palestinian Popular Struggle.”

Erdogan threatens to end Israel-Turkey relations over Jerusalem’s support for Kurdish state

Turkish despot Erdoğan said that since Israel is the only nation to publicly support the Kurdish independence referendum, it’s not “legitimate” and “Turkey could not take any steps” moving forward with the Jewish State.

ERBIL, Iraq – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated on Tuesday afternoon that “If Israel does not reconsider its support for Kurdish independence, Turkey could not take any steps” with the Jewish State, according to the Turkish news outlet Daily Sabah.

REPORT: Czech Army sought to acquire Israel’s APC, the ‘Namer’

According to a defense magazine report, the Czech army requested to purchase the IDF’s Namer APC, considered one of the world’s most fortified.

The Czech army was highly impressed by the Israeli-made Namer APC, and requested the right to purchase it, the Below The Turret defense magazine reported.

According to the report, the Czech army asked Israel to buy the Namer, (Hebrew for “leopard”) to replace its aging Soviet-made BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle. The report said further that the Namer was among nine finalists, but Israel didn’t respond with a price quote in time for the deadline. Continue Reading »

IDF construction & engineering unit arrives in Mexico for search & rescue

Israel’s Home Front Command delegation from the IDF that arrived in Mexico specializes in construction & engineering, that includes 71 professionally equipped soldiers & officers to assist in the logistical efforts of the locals, from their coordinated search teams, to successful rescues.
– ‘We’ll stay as long as it takes,’ said the IDF delegation’s commander.

The IDF has dispatched a rescue unit to Mexico City Thursday to assist in logistical efforts in some of the 38 buildings to completely buckle in the Mexican capital after the earthquake that hit it Tuesday.
