Germany: Dead Sea Scrolls Aren’t Israel’s

Based on UN and UNESCO resolutions against Israel’s/Jewish claims to historical sites, the German government decided not to recognize the Dead Sea Scrolls as Israeli property, prompting the Israel Antiquities Authority’s refusal to send them to a scheduled 2019 Frankfurt exhibit, without the customary governmental ‘Immunity from Seizure’ guarantee.

Under threat of cancelation, Giro d’Italia removes ‘West Jerusalem’ designation

After Israeli Ministers threatened to drop out of hosting the professional cycling race in Israel, organizers of Giro d’Italia remove mentions of ‘West Jerusalem’ from its website, changing it to just ‘Jerusalem’, capital of Israel.

Sour Grapes: Arab Knesset Member laments UN’s celebration of Israel’s independence

Israeli Arab parliamentarian, MK Ahmad Tibi exploits platform at the UN to censure Israel for celebrating the 1947 Partition Plan that subsequently led to its independence.

MK Ahmad Tibi (Joint List) attacked Israel and a UN-held celebration of the 1947 Partition Plan vote which led to Israel’s Declaration of Independence, saying it is hypocritical of the state to celebrate such an event while denying Palestinians independence.

Speaking at a United Nations convention held in observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Tibi panned Israel for what he says are discriminatory acts.

REPORT: US to follow Russia to become 2nd country recognizing Jerusalem as Capital

Just a day before Israel’s TV News reported the White House may formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital early next week, U.S. Vice President Pence said that President Trump was ”actively considering” relocating the embassy to Jerusalem.

“Our fleet of warships will be sent to the Atlantic Ocean in the near future and will visit one of the friendly states in South America and the Gulf of Mexico,” Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi was quoted by Iran’s semi-official Tasnim News Agency as saying.

Iran will likely use the warships’ visit to Latin America to advance its relationship with its ally Venezuela, a US adversary. Israeli actress Gal Gadot was depicted as the “Mossad Agent” who turned Lebanese actor and director Ziad Itani into an Israeli spy in a story published Monday by the Lebanese daily newspaper Al Liwaa.

Gadot’s photo was displayed on the paper’s front page with the caption: “The officer of the Israeli Mossad, Collette Vianfi, who recruited Ziad Itani.”
