EU seeks to buy Israeli natural gas for upcoming winter

In a dramatic turnabout in Israel-EU relations, the European Union is asking Israel to immediately provide a substitute for the Russian natural gas now being sanctioned by the international community.

According to a new report in Israel Hayom, Israel and the European Union are conducting fast-track negotiations for the sale of Israeli natural gas to the EU, which would be piped to Europe via Egypt.

The two sides have already exchanged draft proposals and according to estimates, an agreement could be reached as early as this summer, following which the two sides will negotiate directly with the gas companies themselves. Continue Reading »

A preliminary investigation into Wednesday’s gun battle between IDF troops and terror suspects in Jenin revealed that Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Aqlah was located to the north of the IDF unit taking part in the fighting, while most of the bullets fired by the soldiers were shot towards the south.

However, individual bullets were also fired in a northerly direction, so the IDF has not completely ruled out the possibility that the journalist was killed by its troops. Continue Reading »

Israeli company supplies clean water to Syria

The Multifaith Alliance for Syrian Refugees is using the Israeli company, Watergen for its innovative technology that supplies fresh and mineral-enriched drinking water from the air.

The humanitarian aid organization, Multifaith Alliance for Syrian Refugees, has found a way to meet the water needs of the Syrian people by using Watergen technology, developed by the Israeli company that produces clean and mineral-enriched drinking water from the air, powered by solar energy. IDF thwarts weapons smuggling from Lebanon, suspects in police custody

IDF soldiers and Israel Police officers apprehended the suspects within Israel, including bag with five submachine guns and M16 ammunition.

IDF observation soldiers identified suspects approaching Israeli territory from Lebanon near the town of Ghajar Monday evening. The suspects threw a bag into Israeli territory.

Three additional suspects then arrived in a vehicle within Israeli territory and retrieved the bag. The suspects then threw the bag from the vehicle and continued driving. IDF soldiers and Israel Police officers who were dispatched to the scene apprehended the suspects within Israel and located the bag, which contained five MP5 submachine guns and M16 ammunition. Jared Kushner gets $2 Billion from Saudi Arabia to invest in Israeli start-ups

HISTORIC: In The Wall Street Journal report those familiar with the Saudi Public Investment Fund said thus far, two Israeli firms have been chosen to be invested in and that this is the first known instance of money from the fund being directed to Israel.

A new private-equity fund run by Jared Kushner intends to invest millions of dollars raised from Saudi Arabia in Israeli start-ups, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.

REVEALED: Mossad nabs IRGC operative in Iran before mission to kill US general

The Mossad – operating in Iran – apprehended and interrogated an Iranian national who was leading a plot to kill an Israeli diplomat and a US general, sources have confirmed.

American Jewish approval of Biden plummets 17% to all time low of 63%

37% of Jewish Americans disapprove of Biden’s job performance – nearly double the number from 2021, blamed on his botched exit from Afghanistan, faulty pandemic decisions, southern border crises and record-high inflation caused by ill-advised government policies.

The good news for Joe Biden is that a majority of U.S. Jews approve of the job he is doing. The bad news is that the number in a new poll, 63%, is a sharp double-digit drop from where he was last year.

A poll released Wednesday by the Jewish Electorate Institute, a group led by prominent Jewish Democrats, showed Biden’s approval rating down from 80% in a poll by the same organization last July. Continue Reading »

Germany to be protected by Israel’s most advanced Arrow 3 defense system

Germany gets approval from Jerusalem to obtain Israel’s Arrow 3 missile defense system, one of Israel’s most advanced defensive systems that has yet to be sold to another country.

Germany has received approval from Israel and the United States to purchase the Arrow-3 missile defense system, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

German legislators have in the past pushed for Berlin to buy Israel’s Iron Dome system to ward off aerial threats, but on Monday the head of the German Air Force Lt. Gen. 3rd Palestinian Terrorist attack in a week; 5 Israelis murdered in Bnei Brak

Tensions in the country are running high following two previous Palestinian terror attacks in the past week; the first in Be’er Sheva in which four people were killed, and the second in Hadera, in which two others were murdered.

At least five people were killed and another was critically wounded in a suspected terror attack in the city of Bnei Brak, just east of Tel Aviv.

Two police officers were killed in a terrorist shooting attack in the coastal city of Hadera Sunday evening.

According to initial reports, five people have been wounded, including two police officers, when two terrorists carrying automatic weapons opened fire on passersby on Herbert Samuel Street in Hadera.

Singapore will establish an embassy in Israel, as part of a series of agreements reached between the two governments, Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Monday afternoon.

Vivian Balakrishan, Singapore’s Foreign Minister, traveled to Israel this week, meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Yair Lapid, on Monday.

Two Iranian drones shot down over Iraq last month by American fighter jets were set to explode in Israeli territory, the defense establishment has confirmed.

The drones, which were downed by the international coalition close to Erbil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, were said to be Shahed-136.

🇮🇱 Israel’s field hospital enters Ukraine 🇺🇦

With every minute counting, construction began on the “Kohav Meir” (Shining Star) field hospital early Saturday and is expected to begin running on Tuesday.

Work began on the Israeli “Kohav Meir” (Shining Star) field hospital in Mostyska, Ukraine on Saturday, with the hospital expected to begin operations on Tuesday.

A medical delegation is expected to arrive at the hospital on Monday, led by Dr. David “Dudu” Dagan and 60 medical staff members from Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, Schneider Children’s Medical Center and additional institutions.
