Joint IDF, Shabak, Israel Police close 8 Arab media offices over incitement to violence

In a joint nighttime operation, the IDF, Border Police, & Shabak arrest 18 wanted Arab terrorists and seal illegal Palestinian media outlets that incite and/or support terrorist attacks on Israelis.

Israeli security forces on Tuesday night raided eight Arab media outlets responsible for broadcasting incitement and encouraging terrorism.

The operation was carried out by IDF, Shabak (Israel Security Agency), and the Civil Administration, and included the closing of illegal and inciting media outlets, as well as the confiscation of documents and equipment.

Historic observation of Neutron star collision vindicates Israeli scientist’s theory

Vindicated: The once-ridiculed Prof. Piran, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, said he was treated with ‘utter contempt’ after publishing his heavy-metals effect prediction of a Neutron star collision, back in 1989.

IDF invites public to decide its 70th anniversary insignia

The IDF invites the public to visit it’s website by Oct. 29 to decide which of the three different designs will appear at all state events celebrating Israel’s 70th birthday and IDF documents throughout the upcoming year.

In honor of the country’s 70th Independence Day, the IDF is offering the public the unique opportunity of choosing the armed forces’ official insignia marking the historic milestone.

Voting opened on Wednesday morning on the IDF’s official website. The public will have until Oct. 29 to choose between three different designs.

UNHRC sends threatening letter to companies that service West Bank Jewish towns

The UN Human Rights Council has been caught blackmailing Bezeq, an Israeli telecommunications company, for servicing the entire Jewish State in the letter included below.

The United Nations Human Rights Council has been pressuring Israeli telecommunications giant Bezeq to cut off its services to settlements, saying that the company is promoting the illegal communities and their expansion, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Israel Air Force jets destroy Syrian anti-aircraft battery in retaliatory strike

After being fired on Monday morning by an anti-aircraft missile stationed some 50 kilometers east of Damascus, IAF jets on a routine aerial reconnaissance flight in Lebanese airspace destroyed entire Syrian SA-5 battery in retaliation.

The Israeli Air Force attacked and destroyed a Syrian SA-5 anti-aircraft battery east of Damascus Monday morning after it fired a surface-to-air missile at Israeli jets.

The SA-5 missile battery, which was stationed some 50 kilometers east of the Syrian capital, fired at Israeli jets that were on a routine aerial reconnaissance flight in Lebanese airspace, IDF Spokesman Brig.Gen. Ronen Manelis stated.

“We see the Syrian regime as responsible and see these missiles as a clear Syrian provocation, and it will not be accepted,” Manelis stated, adding that while Israel has no intention to enter into the civil war in Syria, Israel will react to all provocations. Continue Reading »

The army and a spokesperson for the Eshkol Regional Council said that no injuries or damage was reported and that searches for projectiles are ongoing.

Austrian Students’ Union rejects BDS campaign as ‘Antisemitic Boycott of Israel’

The anti-BDS resolution, passed by the Austrian National Union of Students, was nearly unanimous with no opposing votes and only a single abstention to the pledge ‘never to remain silent when antisemitism appears.’

The Austrian National Union of Students passed on Friday a motion against BDS, saying that the boycott movement targeting Israel is antisemitic, and that its demands recall the Nazis’ economic war against Jewish businesses.

It is believed to be the first time an Austrian national student union has passed such a resolution.
