Syrian state media accused Israel of launching a strike against targets outside Damascus Friday night and claimed the country’s air defenses intercepted a number of missiles.

“Aerial defenses detected hostile targets coming from the direction of Quneitra and intercepted them,” a military source was quoted by Syria’s SANA news agency as saying.

In European precedent, Germany rules BDS is antisemitic movement

The German Bundestag’s vote on Friday makes Germany the first country in the European Union to rule that the BDS movement is antisemitic, making no attempt to build coexistence or peace between Israel and its neighbors.

In a landmark vote the German Bundestag ruled on Friday that the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement is antisemitic, calling on German Federal offices and bodies not to collaborate in any way with events that advocate to boycott or delegitimize the Jewish state.

Palestine charges U.S. in Int’l Court over embassy move to Jerusalem

Palestinian minister submitted an “indictment” against the United States at the International Court of Justice on the 1st anniversary of the embassy relocation saying the State of Palestine will fight “against all illegal acts of aggression and shall not surrender to political bullying and extortion.”

The PA has filed a lawsuit with the International Court of Justice in The Hague against the US for moving its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

The complaint was submitted to the court by Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riad Malki on the first anniversary of the embassy relocation.

EU to cover Palestinian’s ‘Pay to Slay’ deficit held by donor countries

The US will move a Patriot missile battery into the Middle East to counter threats from Iran, the Pentagon said Friday, reflecting ongoing concerns that Tehran may be planning to attack America forces or interests in the region.
