IDF retaliatory strike destroys Syrian mortar position that fired on Israel

After the IDF response to the Syrian mortar fired on Israel, an Army spokesperson said, “The IDF views the Syrian regime as responsible for everything in its territory and will not tolerate any attempt to harm the sovereignty of the State of Israel and the security of its residents.”

The IDF fired on a Syrian-regime position after a mortar shell landed near the security fence on the northern Golan Heights on Monday, the army announced.

The shell, which hit Israeli territory, is believed to be spillover from fighting across the border in Syria.

Images released of Hamas rocket-designer’s assassins

Just like when the previous rocket designer for Hamas was assassinated, Gaza’s rulers finger the Mossad for assassinating fellow group member Fadi al-Batsh, in Malaysia.

Malaysian police on Monday released computer generated photographs of two men suspected of gunning down a Palestinian Hamas weapons engineer on Saturday in Kuala Lumpur.

Two men on a motorcycle fired at least 14 shots at Fadi al-Batsh, an engineering lecturer, but also a Hamas drones and rockets expert, killing him on the spot.

Police Chief Mohamad Fuzi Bin Harun did highlight Batsh’s international and Palestinian-related activities, seemingly de-emphasizing his identity as an average Malaysian resident of international origin. Continue Reading »

AIRBUS opens office in Israel in effort to acquire Israeli technology

The European aerospace giant is opening an office as soon as a lease can be signed, because it sees Israel as a top source for hi-tech knowledge & development in expanding the company’s military aviation business.

European aerospace giant Airbus SE is looking for open space in Israel, The Jerusalem Post has learned, in an apparent first step by the company to procure cutting-edge Israeli technology.

Airbus’s Israel office will serve as a base to scout out and procure Israeli innovation, specifically in cybersecurity, according to multiple industry insiders who spoke to the Post.

Youssef Haddad, Christian Arab, Disabled IDF veteran, combats BDS for Israel

Despite the taunting he received when returning home to Nazareth while serving in an IDF Golani unit, Christian Arab Youssef Haddad, 32, now fights BDS for Israel with ‘Reservists on Duty’ and works to bring Israel’s Arab sector closer to the Jewish State.

IDF forces stationed along the Israel-Gaza border opened fire Sunday on several terrorists at various locations along the frontier while they attempted to tear openings in the security fence separating Israel from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian Authority media outlets, three Gazans were wounded Sunday after they approached the Israeli border security fence and attempted to damage it.

Natalie Portman boycotts Israel’s $2 million Genesis Prize ceremony

Romania: Government Decided to Relocate Embassy to Jerusalem

Palestinian leaders furious over Romania’s 70th Independence ‘birthday present’ to Israel, by scrambling to dissuade the EU member from becoming the third country to move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, following U.S. President Trump’s announcement, then Guatemala’s decision.

The Romanian government on Thursday approved a plan to transfer the state’s embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The approval came as Israelis celebrated the Jewish State’s 70th anniversary.

According to reports in local media, the decision includes timetables for implementing the plan. However, the timetables have not been published.

‘Made in Israel’ Anti-Radiation Vest to be Tested by NASA In Deep Space

 

NASA plans to use Israeli firm’s StemRad’s upper-body vest, that protects vital organs, bone marrow & tissues that are especially sensitive to radiation, in future manned missions to space.

The Israel Space Agency (ISA) announced on Tuesday that it is entering an agreement with NASA to test a radiation suit manufactured by Israeli company StemRad Ltd. during a deep space mission. The agreement is scheduled to be signed at the 34th Space Symposium in Colorado later that day.

Dubbed AstroRad, the vest-like suit, first adapted for female astronauts, protects vital body organs and tissues which are especially sensitive to radiation damage such as lungs, bone marrow, the large intestine, the chest and the ovaries, the agency said in a statement. Continue Reading »

REPORT: Assad deploys troops to engage ISIS in Palestinian refugee camp

According to Al-Masdar News, the Syrian Army has been concentrating their 9th Armored Division & Tiger Forces near the Yarmouk refugee camp after the regime successfully defeated the rebels in the last gas-attack.

The Syrian regime is massing troops and armored vehicles to prepare to retake from Islamic State the Yarmouk area in southern Damascus, according to local sources and media.

Yarmouk was home to large numbers of Palestinian refugees before the country’s civil war, but has been under siege by the Syrian regime for many years.

Israel has sent a clear message to Russia in the past 24 hours that the sale of the advanced S-300 missile defense system to the Syrian regime will cross a red line.

A political source who revealed the message in a conversation with Arutz Sheva stated that the message was conveyed following a Russian Defense Ministry announcement that Moscow was reconsidering the sale of arms to the Syrians following the joint attack on Syria by the US, Britain, and France Friday night. Fifth Hamas terror-tunnel located & destroyed by IDF

Israel thwarts Hamas’ efforts to infiltrate Israel from Gaza after destroying the 5th, and according to Israel’s Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman, “the longest and deepest one [terror-tunnel] ever uncovered.”

Over the weekend, IDF forces thwarted another terror tunnel that penetrated into Israel, it was cleared this morning for publication.

IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Ronen Manelis said that this is the fifth tunnel that has been thwarted in Israel recently. The tunnel was foiled in the Jabaliya area.

Israeli jets kill Hamas operative, wound another in retaliation after attacking Israel

Israeli Jets strike Gaza second time, killing Hamas operative and seriously wounding another after they hit an Israeli home with gunfire directed at earlier IAF retaliatory response for Hamas detonating explosive device near IDF border patrol.
