Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y) remains silent as violence against Jews intensifies

Op-ed. The shameful tolerance for violence against Jews is horribly indisputable, as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and fellow Democrat leaders disappear into silence.

By Larry Gordon

No matter how it is spun, in the world at large the Jewish people are stuck in a conundrum that has us determined to win, but not to win by too much.

This debate or conflicted approach to the recent battle between Israel and Hamas has once again the matter of Israel’s strength and military superiority. As absurd as it is on its surface a great deal of the recent debate revolved around the issue as to whether Israel has the right to defend itself. Continue Reading »

NYT: Recording reveals Kerry told Iran about covert IDF operations in Syria

Either John Kerry is enormously & irresponsibly indiscreet, or he exposed American intel to an enemy state in order to attack Israel, an ally. Unfortunately, it looks far more like the latter, than the former.

By David Rutz

The story focuses on leaked audio of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif speaking candidly about Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, the powerful branch of Iran’s Armed Forces and a U.S.-designated Continue Reading »

Anticipating loss, autocrat Abbas likely to cancel Palestinian elections

By KHALED ABU TOAMEH

State Dept announces intent to break US laws by giving $235M to Palestinians

Op-ed: Biden’s State Department decision is shameful, immoral and illegal, being a direct violation of both the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 and the Taylor Force Act of 2018, and Congress should hold the White House accountable.

By MARK GOLDFEDER

The US State Department announced this week that the Biden administration intends to distribute $235 million in aid to the Palestinians, reportedly to “regain their ‘trust and goodwill’ after the Trump-era cuts.” The assistance package is set to take effect on April 10.

That decision is shameful, illegal and immoral, and Congress should not let it happen.

It is shameful to blame the Palestinians’ loss of aid on former president Trump. Continue Reading »

Republican lawmakers delay Biden’s refunding the Palestinians

The Congressional Republicans noted how, “Since 1993, the US government provided more than $6.3 billion to the Palestinians… (but) US programs have not just failed but have been counter-productive, with the money facilitating terrorist incitement and making its way to terrorists.”

Congressional Republicans put a hold on $75 million of the newly reinstatedUS aid to the Palestinians, two sources in Washington confirmed on Thursday.

On March 26, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) sent Congress a “program narrative” of about $75m. in Economic Support Funds (ESF) for programs in the West Bank and Gaza that would begin 15 days after the notification was received. Continue Reading »

PLO vs. Hamas in West Bank elections or ‘Old Guard’ PLO vs. Fatah

Whether or not the elections Abbas has planned in May will actually happen, the demon is out of the bottle, and with the infighting between the ‘Old Guard’ PLO members from Tunisia vs the local Palestinians, the end of PLO’s political supremacy in the West Bank seems near.

By Pinhas Inbari

When Palestinian elections were first discussed, the spotlight immediately turned to the struggle between Fatah and Hamas and the fear that under cover of the elections, Hamas would infiltrate the West Bank. To deter Iran from building nukes, the US must sell Israel the B-52 & MOP

Op-Ed: Only if Teheran feels Israel can actually destroy their bunkered nuclear production sites will there be a serious deterrent in preventing Iran from producing a nuclear arsenal.
– Unlike the US, Israel has a long history in flying extended distances from its borders to destroy nuclear installations of its enemies.

By EHUD EILAM

US President Joe Biden’s administration seeks to negotiate with Iran. If it does not work, the US will have to deter Iran from producing nuclear weapons. Another scenario is that the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, might survive and even be improved following future negotiations. Continue Reading »
