After an announcement that US Congresswoman Rep. Rashida Tlaib will participate in a panel on antisemitism along with others previously accused of antisemitic or anti-Israel statements, event host Jewish Voice for Peace is drawing criticism for their selection of speakers.

BBC cancels interview with Knesset Member for telling truth about Saeb Erekat

In pre-interview meeting, Knesset Member Sharren Haskel admits PLO chief Erekat actually, “promoted, financed, and pushed for an armed struggle against the State of Israel,” up until his death. That comment led to the BBC canceling scheduled interview.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) canceled an interview it scheduled with Likud MK Sharren Haskel after, according to her, it became clear to them that she was not mourning the death of terror-supporter Erekat.

Palestinian from Dubai attains Spanish citizenship after discovering Jewish roots

As a UK-based academic who was born in Dubai to a Palestinian father and Lebanese mother, Heba Nabil Iskandarani had plenty of potential national identities.

What she lacked, however, was a passport.

A 26-year-old lecturer in architecture at Birmingham City University, Iskandarani has been stateless for most of her life, possessing only a Lebanese travel document that defines her as a Palestinian refugee.

Jewish families rescued from Yemen granted asylum in Abu Dhabi

The United Arab Emirates, under the direction of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, facilitated the rescue of the 11 members of a Jewish family in Yemen, whose lives were in imminent danger.

Russian Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar has revealed that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (who is de facto ruler of the UAE) accepted his request for Emirati forces engaged in Yemen’s civil war to rescue two Jewish families trapped there (11 people in all).

Ohio doctor who promised to give Jews wrong meds surrenders license

Following Canary Mission’s exposure of then medical resident Lara Kollab’s multitude of antisemitic posts on Twitter, the State Medical Board of Ohio has permanently revoked Kollab’s medical certificate, making her ineligible to ever practice medicine in the state.

The State Medical Board of Ohio has permanently revoked the medical training certificate of a former Cleveland Clinic resident, after a myriad of old antisemitic tweets resurfaced, including one where she suggested she would deliberately give “Jews the wrong meds.”

Vanesa Levine, 28, a Jewish member of the Harvard Club, is now suing the institution after claiming that she was assaulted during a Pro-Palestinian lecture, the New York Post reported. The Harvard Club not only dismissed her claims, but subsequently threw her out. Levine is seeking unspecified damages and reinstatement to the club.

Levine and her mother were attending a lecture in February 2019 called “The Hundred Year’s War on Palestine” by Rashid Khalidi, a former press officer for the Palestinian Liberation Organization. Continue Reading »

Israel begins “Eitan” production, first 8-wheeled APC for IDF

With 2 years of testing behind them, the Armored Vehicles Directorate at the Israel Ministry of Defense decided on the production of the ‘Eitan’ APC, equipped with an unmanned 30mm cannon turret & the developed in Israel, ‘Trophy’ advanced defense system, operational for the IDF by the end of 2021.

The Israel Defense Forces administration began regular production of the “Eitan” – the IDF’s first wheeled armored personnel carrier, resembling the Soviet-era BRDM2 (Combat Reconnaissance/Patrol Vehicle) but an 8-wheeled armored combat vehicle version based on the technology of the Merkava and the Namer AFVs.

Jewish student sues Kutztown University for inaction on anti-Semitism

A Jewish student who was forced to leave Kutztown University following her sophomore year over repeated anti-Semitic harassment that went unattended to by the administration, sues the college for “acts and behaviors that caused her great emotional harm.”
