The Israel Air Force struck and killed four terrorists who crossed into Israel from Syria and planted explosives near an IDF post on Sunday night, said a senior IDF source.

Survey: Young Arabs Less Obsessed with Israel-Palestinian conflict than ever before

The 7th annual Arab youth survey has shown that common attitudes of the past decade are shifting drastically away from the Israel-Arab conflict.

A new survey of Arab youth promises to be the clearest insight yet into public attitudes in the Middle East today. The Seventh Annual ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller Arab Youth Survey found that young Arabs are opening up to new ideas and are changing their attitudes towards the West.

The pollsters questioned 3,500 Arabs between the ages of 18 and 24. The respondents came from 16 different countries and were split evenly between men and women. Continue Reading »

Israel Sends Search & Rescue to Airlift Surrogate Babies Out of Nepal By Helicopters

Since Kathmandu airport is closed following devastating earthquake, Israel Foreign Ministry sends search & rescue team Saturday night to evacuate newborns to Israel via India.

The 24 infants born in recent days to surrogate mothers in Nepal are waiting with their Israeli parents to be evacuated following the lethal earthquake which struck the area on Saturday morning.

Nine of the infants were born premature and one is in serious condition. The Foreign Ministry told Ynet that it planned to fly out the families in helicopters from Nepal to neighboring India because the airport in Kathmandu was closed.

Car Terror: Four Policemen Struck in Third Attack in 24 Hrs

In what appears to be the third terror attack against Jews in about 24 hours, an Arab driver plowed down four people Saturday evening on the Kohanim Route in eastern Jerusalem.

Israel sends aid to Napal: 1,500 dead so far following ‘worst quake in 80 years’

A 7.9 magnitude earthquake caused large-scale casualties in Nepal on Saturday, with the death toll currently at 1,170, according to police.

Hundreds more are feared trapped in the ruins, Nepalese Home Ministry said. The South Asian country has declared a state of emergency.

Al-Jazeera reports: Israel’s Jets destroys missile bases in Syria

According to Al-Jazeera report, IAF fighter jets bombed bases along the Al-Qalamoun mountains, where long-range missiles are housed.

Israel Air Force fighter jets struck Syrian military bases housing long-range missiles on Friday, the Qatari Al-Jazeera satellite television network said on Saturday.

According to the report, the bases, near the Syrian-Lebanese border, belong to Assad regime brigades that possess weapons such as Scud missiles. The attacks allegedly targeted multiple targets in the area.

Twice Arab Attackers Shot Dead in Two Separate Attacks on Israeli Security Personnel

A Palestinian terrorist attacked a Border Police officer on Saturday evening, stabbing the Israeli in his neck with a knife near the Cave of the Patriarchs. The attacker rushed a combat unit, wounding one before the other soldiers fired at him.

The officer was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in moderate condition; the terrorist succumbed to his wounds late Saturday evening.

In October 2014 China established, together with other Asian countries, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The creation of the AIIB was a consequence of China’s exasperation at America’s refusal to reform the Bretton Woods institutions (i.e. the International Monetary Fund, or IMF, and the World Bank) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

For years, China has asked to reform the IMF and the World Bank so as to reflect the global clout of the Chinese economy.

Satellite images of Lebanon detect new Hezbollah airstrip for Iranian-made drones

According to report in Jane’s Defence Weekly, the new runway was constructed just 10 kilometers south of the Lebanese village of Hermel, in the northern Bekaa Valley.

Fresh satellite images reveal that the Lebanese Shi’ite movement Hezbollah has constructed an airstrip designed for its fleet of unmanned aerial vehicle.

Stone Throwing Ultra-Orthodox Jews Attack IDF Officer in Jerusalem

An IDF officer visiting 2 soldiers under his command, was assaulted by dozens of ultra-Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem neighborhood of Mea She’arim, causing extensive damage to his car.

An IDF officer was attacked by dozens of ultra-Orthodox Jews in the neighborhood of Meah She’arim in Jerusalem on Friday. The assailants – both adults and children – threw stones and eggs at him, caused damage to his car and yelled: “Hardak (frivolous haredi), we will kill you”.

The officer, a resident of Kiryat Arba who serves in the Givati infantry brigade, had arrived at the neighborhood in Jerusalem to pay a visit to two of his soldiers – one of them a lone soldier whose grandfather had recently passed away.
