Bank of Israel: Ultra-Orthodox impedes Israel’s economic growth

Although there has been an increase in ultra-Orthodox students entering academic institutions, an ultra-Orthodox man that has completed 19 years of yeshiva schooling is as prepared for the Israeli job market as a man who has completed only 10 years in the traditional public school system.

Bank of Israel warns ultra-Orthodox education deficiencies will impact the economy’s ability to grow.

In a special report published Sunday the Bank of Israel looked at advancing the standard of living by increasing Israel’s productivity and determined that ultra-Orthodox men are under educated.

Nearly 12,000 attend Hindu-Jewish unity rally in India

Around 12,000 Hindus unite in a major show of support in India denouncing terrorism, calling on all to emulate the Jewish State at the SinghaBahini pro-Israel rally.

Last week, braving extremely inclement weather and floods, SinghaBahini, a grassroots organization in India, organized a major pro-Israel rally in Kolkata, India.

PLO scurrying to keep UNRWA mandate renewed by UN

PLO chief Erekat claims that the timing of the UN’s internal investigation of graft and sexual misconduct among UNRWA’s senior management was “consistent with US and Israeli efforts to dry up the resources of UNRWA.“
– Erekat also accused the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium of “undermining the rights of Palestinian refugees” for suspending their funding of UNRWA.

The Palestinian leadership is worried that the mandate of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) may not be renewed this year due to charges of corruption in the agency.

IDF kills 3 armed Palestinian terrorists during infiltration attempt

Sources from the Hamas-controlled terror enclave report 3 dead and another Palestinian militant wounded when, according to the IDF, 5 armed terrorists were seen trying to sneak into Israel less than 2 hours after Gaza fired 3 rockets at communities in southern Israel.

Three Palestinian militants who were trying to infiltrate the border with Israel were killed by Israeli fire, the medical sources in the Hamas-controlled enclave said Sunday. The sources added that another Palestinian was left wounded.

Palestinian descent U.S. Congress member Rashida Tlaib announced she will not be visiting Israel, despite the approval of her request to enter in order to visit her grandmother after an earlier decline due to her support of BDS.

40 yr-old policeman lightly stabbed when two young Palestinians rushed a Police unit at entrance to Old City of Jerusalem; quick reaction left one terrorist shot dead, the other severely wounded.

A 40-year-old policeman was stabbed by two Palestinians in the Old City of Jerusalem Thursday evening.

One of the attackers was shot and killed by security forces, while the other was severely wounded and evacuated to a hospital.

It’s official: Rashida Tlaib & Ilhan Omar barred from entering Israel

Israel’s Prime Minister and Interior Ministry have agreed in favor of banning both anti-Semitic Democratic lawmakers from entering the Jewish State based on 2017 law barring entry to activists who work for Israel’s destruction.

Israel will not permit two controversial Democratic lawmakers who have expressed support for the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement visit the country on a planned trip next week.

Israeli-Arabs win massive lawsuit against Abbas’ Palestinian Authority

Touching on his judgement of $3.61 million, the Jerusalem District Court judge mentioned the horrors, torture, rape & mutilation of body organs the Israeli-Arab prisoners suffered through during their unjustified incarceration by the Palestinian Authority.

Following a verdict issued by the Jerusalem District Court, $3.61 million has been confiscated from the Palestinian Authority by Israel, Hebrew-language Maariv newspaper reported on Thursday.

Jerusalem’s Enforcement and Collection Authority began a confiscation process in recent days amid cases filed against the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Magistrates Court extends arrest of parents who are in Israel illegally, after 5 yr-old daughter was found by police with hands & feet bound and “covered in her excretions and blood, unable to move.”

The Rishon Lezion Magistrates Court on Tuesday extended the arrest of the Arab man whose five-year-old daughter was found tied up and alone in the shower in the family’s home in Lod.

A Dilemma: 18 yr-old Israeli is murdered and Palestinians rejoice

Israel drops a spot in 2019 World Military Ranking

Using over 55 factors to determine a country’s military strength ranking, Global Firepower drops the IDF to 17th place.

Israel’s military is in 17th place in the latest 2019 Military Strength Ranking index by Global Firepower.

Israel comes behind the standard military powerhouses of the United States, Russia, China, India and European powers Germany, the UK and France, but has moved down one place from 2018 when it came in 16th.

AGAIN, Armed Palestinian terrorist shot dead sneaking into Israel

After 4 armed Palestinian terrorists were killed yesterday in a firefight with IDF soldiers, today another armed terrorist was neutralized after foolishly  attempting to stealthily traverse the Israeli border fence from northern Gaza.

IDF lookouts on Sunday morning identified an armed terrorist approaching the border fence in the northern Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

The terrorist fired at IDF soldiers along the border. The soldiers, who were on alert following the identification of the terrorist, opened fire at him.

American actor boycotts working on Israeli created Netflix series, ‘FAUDA’

The pro-Palestinian American actor was right about one thing, admitting, “My refusal to collaborate with Israeli producers will have a negligible effect on this expensive and ambitious project.”
