Jordan stops film production because story has past Jewish reference

Because the fictional film is about a Jordanian boy who finds a stone with Hebrew written on it, the former head of the Jordanian Actors Association is opposed to the movie, thinking it could open the door to future Israeli claims on the Hashemite kingdom.

By Associated Press, Israel Hayom Staff

A fictional caper about an antiquities heist set in an ancient Jordanian city has stirred widespread outrage over the film’s portrayal of historical Jewish ties to Jordan, shining a light on the tenuous peace with neighboring Israel and prompting the government to suspend the movie’s production.

Arabs Would Benefit Greatly from Normalization with Israel

‘Israel is stronger and more stable than the Arab states on almost every front. If Arab states followed the Jewish state’s example, then we, too, would become prosperous like America and Europe.’

– Arabs Have Everything to Gain from Normalization with Israel By

As an Arab activist and writer, I call on the Arab world to normalize relations with Israel, a move that would be almost entirely to our benefit alone. Israel would gain very little from this in practical terms, while Arabs stand to gain tremendously.

The State of Israel is stronger and more stable than the Arab states on almost all fronts. Continue Reading »

But that didn’t stop Saud from speaking his mind and telling the truth about the situation in an interview with Israeli Messianic YouTuber Hananya Naftali.

In particular, Saud noted that he had grown up believing that Israeli Jews and local Arabs did not at all get along, and the image portrayed by the mainstream media only reinforced that belief. Continue Reading »

A Dilemma: 18 yr-old Israeli is murdered and Palestinians rejoice

Analysis: It’s not just a political issue. Sadly, it’s embedded into ‘Palestinian culture’ and it’s not new. Arabs have been murdering Jews long before Israel gained independence, continuing on for decades, even before the first ‘settlement’, and still, the Palestinian propensity to rejoice and celebrate the murder of Israeli citizens forces one to look more closely at the Palestinian narrative.

Last week, 18-year-old yeshiva student Dvir Sorek was found stabbed to death near his village of Migdal Oz in Judea and Samaria. Sorek had gone to Jerusalem to buy books for his teacher as an end-of-year present and was returning home when he was apparently targeted by Palestinian terrorists. Continue Reading »

Time for the US to look at Israeli gun culture and weapons proliferation

Mass shootings in the US are becoming routine and public places across the country may have little choice but to emulate Israeli gun laws to help prevent lunatic shooters from claiming so many innocent lives.

By Alex Traiman, JNS  & Israel Hayom Staff

Mass shootings are nothing new in the United States, but their sudden rise is ballooning into a shocking nationwide epidemic. Many blame a toxic political culture that is accentuating divisions rather than commonalities between Americans, and the ease in which Americans can access guns, including automatic assault rifles.

Added into the mix is the multibillion-dollar entertainment industry that glorifies gun violence. Continue Reading »
