Hezbollah chief quarantined after subordinates succumb to coronavirus

Already confined to a secret underground bunker for over a decade to prevent a possible assassination attempt inside Beirut, now Hassan Nasrallah is placed under quarantine, since many of his subordinates have been tested positive for the coronavirus.

Senior Hezbollah officials have been placed under quarantine after being infected with the coronavirus, Channel 13 reported. They may have been in contact with Iranian officials who also tested positive for the coronavirus.

Hamas furious over secret trials of its arrested officials in Saudi Arabia

In a public statement from Gaza, the Hamas terrorist organization condemned the Saudi Kingdom for having begun unpublicized criminal trials of dozens of “the best of and the most elite of the Palestinian people residing in Saudi Arabia.”

On Monday Hamas criticized the secretive criminal trials in Saudi Arabia of dozens of members and supporters of the Palestinian terrorist group.

The group, which rules the Gaza Strip, said Saudi authorities detained dozens of “the best of and the most elite of the Palestinian people residing in Saudi Arabia.”

A popular account on Twitter focused on the arrests and trials of dissidents, reported that the Saudi government is conducting the trials before the Specialized Criminal Court, a secretive tribunal established to try terrorism cases. Continue Reading »

MPs ask Parliament, ‘Why continue financing Palestinian incitement?’

And Another Iranian Commander Assassinated in Syria

Just 2 weeks after Israel was credited with the assassination of a senior Hezbollah operative, Imad at-Tawil, now a Quds Force commander, Farhad Dabirian, was reportedly assassinated in a southern Damascus suburb with no immediate claims of responsibility or description on how he died.

A field commander with the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was assassinated near the Syrian capital, an Iranian semiofficial news agency and an opposition war monitor reported Saturday.

Fatah official brutally arrested for suggesting Abbas is senile

A senior Palestinian official and outspoken critic of the PA autocrat Mahmoud Abbas, was arrested “in a brutal manner by the Palestinian security forces,” after posting a comment on Facebook questioning the 84-year-old’s mental health.

A senior Fatah official who called into question the mental health of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has been arrested by the Palestinian security forces.

Hussam Khader, 59, an elected member of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), was arrested by PA security forces at this home in Balata refugee camp in Nablus on Friday.

Khader, an outspoken critic of the PA leadership, was arrested by the PA’s Protective Security Service after he posted a comment on Facebook criticizing the 84-year-old Abbas’s handling of a recent strike by Palestinian physicians who are demanding a salary increase. Continue Reading »

The Coronavirus is credited for killing the ‘butcher’ of Tehran, named for his role in brutally suppressing civilian protests,  just after the death of Expediency Council member Mohammad Mirmohammadi on Monday.

Turkey destroys Syrian chemical warfare facility, kills 10 Hezbollah bosses

Multiple sources reported on Saturday that a chemical warfare facility and a range of other Syrian regime targets were hit in multiple Turkish strikes, killing ten fighters and wounding at least 30 others at a Hezbollah HQ near Saraqeb.

At least nine members of Lebanese Hezbollah were killed in a Turkish strike in Syria’s Idlib, multiple sources reported on Saturday.

According to London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, ten Hezbollah members, including officers, were killed in the clashes in the vicinity of Saraqeb, a strategic town in north Syria.

Syrian media: Israel assassinated senior Hezbollah commander

According to a Syrian media report, an Israeli drone destroyed the car a Hezbollah leader, Imad at-Tawil was driving, as he was surveying the Syrian side of the Golan Heights bordering Israel.

An Israeli drone assassinated a senior Hezbollah operative on Thursday, Arab media reported.

According to the reports, the official is Imad at-Tawil.

Report: Egypt constructs new underground barrier with Gaza

According to the Egyptians, the 2 kilometer long wall/underground barrier is designed to prevent armed Palestinian terrorists from crossing into Egypt overland or through terror-tunnels.

Egypt has begun construction of a new border wall along the Gaza Strip, according to a report by Al Monitor.

The construction began in late January as Egypt began a series of new projects to boost security on the Gaza border and prevent infiltration by terrorist and extremist elements from Gaza.

Palestinian lawyers threaten to sue any company or individual, in American & European courts, who ‘accepts’ or is involved in the implementation of U.S. President Trump’s peace-plan called, “Peace to Prosperity.”

Palestinian lawyers have launched an initiative to file lawsuits in the US and Europe against politicians and businessmen who accept US President Donald Trump’s recently unveiled plan for Mideast peace.

The initiative comes on the eve of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s address to the UN Security Council, where he is expected to urge the international community to reject the Trump plan.

The Trump Administration has lamented that there are almost no voices of support for the “Peace to Prosperity” plan among the Palestinians. 

Sure, the proposal leans toward Israeli security concerns and requires Palestinian compliance before any rewards are to be had. But it does contain quite a lot of reward for the Palestinians, including what are, quite frankly, unearned economic incentives.
